Okay, until dipshit here decides to take down his own wall of ignorance, I feel no need to repeat the same unanswered points yet again. It's pretty fucking obvious that he's taking personal offense to this, got a bug up his ass about it, and is so far incapable of seeing what a hypocritical douche he's being.

Oh please, I am hardly saying that everyone in AL voted for Moore and is thus by definition a bigoted sack of shit. There was a percentage of the population that did not. But if you look at what the majority of the south is like, as in, majority of the population, as in, who has political power, you find that the place is a legal and social shithole. I can go to nigeria and find some decent people, but that does not change the fact that nigeria is not a place I would want to live, because it is an ass-backwards african hell-hole when taken as a statistical whole. There are large portions of the south, even when compared to other parts of the US that are nasty, that are basically third world countries in terms of infant morality, crime rates, poverty, etc. You can blame whatever the hell you want for this statistical fact, but it is a fucking fact and no amount of bitching about "Acknowledging the truth and making statistical generalizations about a location is stereotyping and wrong" will save you. The truth by definition cannot in itself be morally wrong.

Dude, nobody's calling you a bigoted hick. People are saying that the South has a disproportinate representation of bigoted hicks, not that every single person living in the South is a bigoted hick.
