I'll be needing 16 of them for this year, so the bill will come out to around...US$72 million, if my math's right. They can all be built in a single month if necessary.

Also, since you apparently don't produce M1117s, I'd like to know if there are others who do.
Actually I do produce the M1117. I have them in my light units. I can sell the M1117 for $750K and the Avenger for $1M.

I can produce these relatively fast. Just let me know how many you would need.

As for the M6 Linebackers, I will have them ready next month. They will be waiting at the Sanguinius Dockyard. Let's just call it an even $70M since you ordered quite a few of them.

As for the M2s and M3s that Shep has, you might want to find out what version they are. I can produce the M2A3 and M3A3 version which is the most modern versions of each. Also, do you need any M7 BFISTs for your artillery forward observers?
I'll be needing sixteen M1117s and sixteen Avengers for this year.

As for Shep, he has both A2s and A3s, which are supposedly in the process of being replaced by the M6 Meade IIRC. I'll have to hammer out the specifics with him at a later time.

As for the BFISTs, I don't have any artillery to speak of...yet. It may be something for next year, though.

Shroomania has Cougars and also M113s for anyone who is interested in armored fighting vehicles. The M113s are highly customizable and have proven themselves in Vietnam and are serving in Iraq. In SDN World, they have done well in the Syndromian Strike and have been proven by Mushroom Marines.
You probably should have told me sooner, since I've basically finalized my deal with General Deathdealer for a consignment of Linebackers and Guardians. While I am also set on acquiring some of Shep's surplus Bradleys, I'd still like to keep my options open. What's the asking price for a Cougar HE or a baseline M113A3 APC?

Mr Bean wrote:Your reading it wrong, those are GEO Footprints. The Satellites are Geo-stationary, which means they do not move relative to the rotation, that combined with the great height of the satellite means that the satellite can be seen from Saddamstain but is not over Saddamastain territory.

Again those are not orbital paths, the satellites are stationary as far as an observe on the ground views it. If someone in Saddamstain wants to view inter nation TV then they can purchase the equipment, aim a satellite dish at one of the satellites and get a signal.

These satellites in no way violate Saddamstain's claim of airspace of infinity plus one, since none pass over his country. In fact again I stress, they do not move at all from a ground observer prospective.
That's good to know. Thanks for clearing it up.

Well, if an OMSK satellite flies over Saddamistan, and Skimmer shoots it down and retaliates by taking a swipe at his nearest neighbor, a MESS nation, then he's on a collision course with the two largest pacts on New Terra... his funeral.

Hey! I have a big Pharma, as my main industry, so those spores might be nice, I could turn them into Super Magic Mushrooms for export, or for general consumption. I think I may make my list of Pharmaceutical/Recreational drugs for export.

I'm going to Finalize my order from Wilkens on the Clyde class, finalizing my order on Ekranoplans for cargo (and the trainers), and from the Byzantines, I'm finalizing my order for 3 Standard transports I'm also purchasing 1 future UAV for pure anti-pirate attack, and I'll take a used Jayhawk from Deathdealer.

EDIT:" Need standard, bulk transport will be useful later on.

For those of you that are further away, perhaps. But since I'd be the one to absorb the blow, I'd rather avoid it. Anyway, Zoria is just as close, so he can swipe at the OMSK Pact quite easily as it is, if he were to decide to.

Anyway, I'm not worried about Sea Skimmer attacking me because the OMSK pissed him off. I just don't want to be right next door to any war that may break out. Especially if it were something silly like TV and internet satellites.

At any rate this is, for the moment, a moot point as Bean has clarified there is no violation of airspace over Saddamistan.

I'm mostly pointing out that I'm going to be taking a very dim view of anyone trying to bait Saddamistan, should such a thing occur (not that I'm saying anyone has, mind you).

Sorry 'bout the lateness.

Googel really doesn't give me a price on the M113 but it's an old but reliable dog and is no doubt significantly cheaper than the Bradleys (or Strykers).

The Cougar, though, I can give you 122 for an amount not to exceed $87 million. The price is based on US sales in real-life and can be negotiated.

Hey, Shroomania is your FUN friend, we can provide stuff for you guys and we're probably a bigger arms exporter than General Deathdealer - his country, Baal isn't much larger than other Duchies, though it is really-really-ridiculously militarized.

[I think I can sell surplus Q-given Challenger 2 MBTs at around 2 million (USD) a piece. A considerable discount considering the cost of.... I think 3 million (UK Pounds) in real life. If you're interested now or later.]

We're having three interesting conferences overlap-- the MESS summit, the airship thing, and the international summit.

Crossroads, how about bringing the Airship agreement to the international leader's summit as a subforum topic on international travel and we can all jump aboard as desired there...

Hey Stas,

If you need more meds then you could just contact Wilkonia rather than waiting for Shroomia to match us for industry size. Right now I'm pretty sure we are the largest (only Tsardom to declare pharmaceuticals the largest industry IIRC) and we would be happy to supply you on a short term basis if you are still intent on eventually making Shroomia the sole intra-OMSK provider.

Mangka does have a declared pharmaceuticals industry (which has been mentioned a lot) and in those initial nation profiles, I think I did include "medicine" as one of Shroomania's industries. And for some time, I have been mentioning Shroomania's competent health profession.

Besides, we're both Kingdoms (not Tsardoms, that's for people with 20k posts like Shep and Bear and... SeaSkimmer, as well as Supermods and Admins).

And penicillin is a fungus, and since my country is apparently full of fungi, I ought to have loads of penicillin. And truffles. And toadstools. And face-eating fungi. There is also the fact that me and Stas are right beside each other.

Anyway, I don't think any single entity ought to have a monopoly in any market - particularly medicine. Mangka can still be the world's top provider of designer drugs, Valiums and Prozacs and other US-style Big Pharma stuff.

[Also, there are those recent OMSK-MESS tensions. I mean, didn't Stas demolish your embassies in the RT?]

No ;) You confuse Wilkonia, which is in okay relations with the RT, with Beolwulf and Lonestar, both of which now have no embassies in the RT.

Also, Shroom, we are all Tsardoms (me, you, Wilkens). Mangka is a Principality however.

Kingdoms are people like Zor, there are very few of them.

EDIT: So you want some assault hovercrafts Shroom? Indeed a wise choice; Greek naval assault troops bought four in the real world since they have lots of islands to protect. Shroomania is similar. Your island chain is simply enormous :) I think in the fight against piracy and in a real war, those craft would come handy.

EDIT2: the MESS start each year with a Naval drill. I guess I should drill my guys too. :) Hey Fingolfin, how about my PM proposal? ;)

Goddamn I am screwed up - mixing Imperium with Tsardom. SeaSkimmer and Shep are Imperiums. Oh, horrors of horrors. The Ruthless Genocidal Maniac and the Super Saddam Special are the two dominant military powers in the world, and there's Yosemite Bear, who... well, sells beer?

How many hovercrafts do you recommend? While I still have a large enough navy (frigates, destroyers and subs) to patrol home waters and stuff... hovercrafts and other rapid landing units are simply vital for Marines, who will play more important roles in New World combat than purely land-locked Armies.

I'd say around 5 "Zubr" type (they really deliver the pounding), and some smaller types depending on your tastes - the small Black Sea for example had 18 "Dzheyran"-class, so I think here you might need around 5 "Zubr", 20 "Dzheyran" and 20 "Murena".

Also, large combat ships kinda start to lose meaning in those archipelagos, especially with Blackbeard proliferation. I'm thinking of downsizing the Navy, via decomissioning them as museum ships probably.

You can also have several ekranoplanes, Orlyonoks and maybe a KM or Lun at a 50% discount if you buy sufficiently large amounts of hovercrafts ;)
