Hey all;
I'm about to move in to a new computer. How do I clear all the password presets in Firefox for sites like Youtube and SD.net? I may just give away this current computer, and would rather not have all those saved passwords on here!
Clearing Out Passwords

You can just delete the entire profile; it's in [drive letter]/documents and settings/[username]/application data/mozilla/firefox/profiles; the folders with strings of letters and numbers each contain a stored profile. "Application Data" is hidden, so make sure it's made visible through Explorer's Folder options.
This will wipe your passwords, bookmarks, history, extensions, basically anything that wasn't part of the vanilla install.
In FF 2.0 you can also use the "clear private data" function, but that leaves your bookmarks intact. Deleting the profile also resets all warnings, so that might be better for a new user.

If I were giving away a computer to say a charity or something, I'd zero out the hard drive and reinstall, just to make sure no traces of private stuff remains.

IF you feel like being quick and dirty, there's a "Clear private data" option in Firefox. Just go "Ctrl+Shift+Del" and select passwords and cookies. (IT's in the Tools bar).
