Okay, the concept studies are terminated, and I'm $54 million in the hole due to contract termination penalties.

 What do you all have against atomic canal blasting

Fine, only not with Saddam!

Seriously, we didn't object to PAEs (I wouldn't for once, the USSR actually had good deal of PAE projects), but to giving anything, or building anything for Saddam, especially when it concerns nukes and when you said "nuclear proliferation is fun"

PAE OK, proliferation nop. :D

don't worry, while HK is lead by paranoids who believe that the Hubboloists and freemasons are behind everything, (they are often right in their own case.) they are involved with some big projects...

 Brilliant. Khomenei wouldn't have told it better.

P.S. A lot of events this year, indeed, and it's only in it's early May or so.

Ramsley wants to explain that "Operation God's Wrath" was not started just for the fun of it, but because if Raj removed the pilots from Libertia, we'd have very tough times in finding even one of them. Trying to bring ProTec to trial in what is a lawless zone is kinda hard, and there's no international military tribunal so you can't kidnap them to be trialled either.

The 10 people who have been assigned to Operation God's Wrath are terrorists in the early XX century Russian terrorist tradition (in writing them, I was taking direct inspiration from Orthodox Socialist terrorist Boris Savinkov, etc), they blow up only the people they intend to kill, and withold attack if they see bystanders or innocents might get killed.

Their motto is "God's Retribution where Man's Law fails to do justice"

Well regardless, OMSK obviously doesn't condone religious extremism, but I doubt the MESS wants OMSK to get entangled in the MESS' matters.

I'm more worried that he might perceive any object on that moon to be a violation of his territory and embark on some Special Ops strike.

Do we have a map of Libertopia with cities and major geographic landmarks?

I'm preparing a comprehensive Report On Libertopia and a preliminary plan for economic stabilization. A map would be supremely useful.

There's a map, and Bean's rough calls for influence zones. I'll see what I can make of it.

EDIT: okay, you all decided to condemn EPAs? :? But it was tried in reality and not like it gathered much outrage.

I mean, we were more concerned with nukes falling into Saddam's hands, than the canal digging.

I think we're concerned that Shep is going to start doing all his engineering with nukes, merrily blowing fallout into the air :)

Plus, it was tried by the USSR deep within their own territorry ; We're much more closely integrated here. And it's not like I condemned the project: I just expressed concern about canal-digging, while condemning nuclear-powered rockets spewing radioactive steam straight into the air.

Byzantium made its own peace proposals as well. It's up to the rest of the international community to either take them up and collaborate with us over the details.

This is acceptable ; Just give me a couple of days.

We'll need to organize a conference with all three warlords, though. The first thing they need to do is recognize each other as legitimate.

Seeing as Ramsley considers Alexander a traitor and the Sultan an infidel, Alexander thinks both the Sultan and Ramsley are insane fanatics, and the Sultan hates both infidels, this is going to be quite a diplomatic coup :D

But they may go for the economic carrot. Each of them have their own major internal problems, after all.

Most likely outcome is they recover slightly and then go for each other's throats, but I suppose it's somewhat better than the "Choose one and bomb the other two to ash" variant :D

Syndromia turned out better than it could, after all.

Here. A rough estimate of what we did so far with it :)

Also, there's a rusting Kirov-class CGN in the seaport of Migidishu - back in the early days of Alexashenko, 20 years ago, it seemed that the Islamic Courts-controlled region promised more and more to become a government, before Alexander and Ramsley's militias rose to prominence - and the ship paid a "friendship visit" to Libertia, also the RT engaged in some limited trade with them.

However, the crew was captured - only a few were later recovered via bribing militias, most are considered MIA - and the ship was left to rot because they could not properly operate it. What transpired with it's weapons systems is unclear, but it seems they have proliferated around the nation.

That led to total cut-off trade, and yet worse conditions in Libertia - the RT never contacted them since, before the current relatiions with Ramsley, through the U.O.C. UOC was repressed slightly under Alexashenko, so they could not contact Ramsley back then. Libertia was a black hole and not much of what traspires there was known.

Guys whats your stand on the selling of nukes to FUN nations?

I am interested in buying nukes for my empire, to be used as deterrents to enemy invasion. Considering my military forces would not stand a chance against a large enemy like Sadamistan or a major alliance. The FUN may be dedicated to peace, and so am i, but that wont save us in case of war.

History of our world has shown that war is a very likely possibility and i only want a way to protect my people.Opinions?

Uh...how, exactly, did the history of our world show that? So far we've managed to resolve our conflicts peacefully, and they were some serious ones.

Personally, I don't think it's a good idea. People still remember how you blew up Mangkan pharma plants ; I think the MESS is going to object to selling you nukes.
