I couldn't possibly compete with the wonderful gifts PeZookia gave to Coyote's kids, so I didn't even try with anything physical. So I gave them the gift of learning, instead.
And for Coyote, consider that statue a gift from me to you. One of joy...and my condolences.
Oh yes, and I'll be hanging around Canissia for a few days, on my very first State Visit (seperate from my various conference attendences). So Coyote, if you want to talk about anything with me face to face, feel free to do so over the next four "days" (we won't let matters of state intrude on my gift presenation, however).

The CLIT has either formal or informal orgs in many nations, as I said. But of course if they can go formal, which I presumed they can since your nation is liberal, they do. Since there's no specific "rise and lobby in the clergy ranks" issue in your nation unlike Byzantium which is secular but still the Church has strong influence over society, in Canissia they will just be CLIT as well.

I'm getting worried about Tian Xian numerous undocumented launches, sending dozens of rockets off without informing the international world what exactly your launching into space? Not a happy situation.
Which leads me to believe I must invest time, effort, and resources in order to ensure the world knows what he's up to.
Undocumented rocket launches are not a good idea. We announce everything we do at White Sands, as does Lonestar, and everything launched from Atlantis under-goes inspection, but over here we have Beowulf tossing possible ICBM's off and not saying a thing?
Had I had more reliable internet access Beowulf I likley would have asked Sheppard to nuke your country the first time you shot a rocket into space without informing the international community what it was for.

None of them have reached orbit. None of them in fact, have left the atmosphere. It's a tall order to claim that doing tests of a secret rocket of some sort or another is somehow a deed worthy of being nuked (and causing the entire world to go up in flames, incidentally).Mr Bean wrote:I'm getting worried about Tian Xian numerous undocumented launches, sending dozens of rockets off without informing the international world what exactly your launching into space? Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!

Speaking of which, I'm SOL on pricing for S-400's I've not been able to find one shred of fact on how much a full system would cost me.
And by full System, assuming I'm getting the plans from Sheppard, then establishing a factory to build them.
Cost of Factory?
Cost of Each Missile?
Cost Launcher?
Cost of Radar?
Total Cost Package for one truck, one radar and a standard missile load out?
All I have are old memories and claims of the S-400 as being the best dual use AA and ABM in existence. And I want to get into building them in a large way.

So I'm building and selling what are basically the F100 frigates from Spain. I have about 50,000 tons I can build with for small boys, so I can build a maximum of 8 per 6 months. Since I'm only building 2 a year (to a total number of 18) I should be able to accomodate any orders. I'd say they're a good addition to the Clyde OPVs, and could serve as flagships and/or the heavy hitters of anti-pirate units. They're probably out of range for the Duchys, unless you want to blow most of your yearly budget on one, but they should be addordable for Principalities on up. And they're more capable than the Halifaxs we were gifted with, so if anyone is looking to modernize now is the time. :)

After thinking it over, 650 million is my internal/MESS price. Export is $USD 700 million. Gotta turn a profit somewhere. Considering they're almost like a Burke-lite (which would be about USD$1.1 billion) that's a good deal.RogueIce wrote:So I'm building and selling what are basically the F100 frigates from Spain. How much will it cost if I build these frigates at my own docks under license? I'm considering Frigates, and looking to maybe begin a program of replacement starting FY2011 or FY2012, depending on how much money I have lying around.RogueIce wrote:After thinking it over, 650 million is my internal/MESS price. Raj your writing against grain, the Iron General's problem's have not been related to shitty trained troops, his problem is his people are armed with everything you would expect from mountain-troops. IE No armor, no IFV's but technicals, he has RPG's but he's not even fully equipped with AK's. He has troops round around with World War I/II equivalent single-shot carbine rifles. Yes they are well trained, but you put up a hundred guys armed with K98's, SKS,, AK-47's, M14's, and whatever else they can scrounge up, VS a hundred guys armed only AK-47's and RPK MG support with attached mortar's and even if they are well trained they are going to have issues.
Which is also why he's been eager to secure funding and arms from international sources is he has a hell of a time securing new weapons, he has enough to keep his people armed.

Well, my post could probably still stand. His Best troops probably required very little in training, mainly just on the helicopters and some more advanced Special Forces type training. But my men really haven't had much time to work with them as yet, so tthey would have had to be competent to begin with. And those rumours of ProTec men spearheading the assault may be looking more accurate all the time, if not due to their training, then due to their better equipment.Mr Bean wrote:Raj your writing against grain, the Iron General's problem's have not been related to shitty trained troops, his problem is his people are armed with everything you would expect from mountain-troops. Alexander should be able to purchase arms, he has mineral wealth, so he could at least buy small arms on the black market in exchange for gold and conflict diamonds right? That would be obscenely expensive though, so just getting helicopters from ProTec would be a huge increease in capabilty for Alexander's forces.
Edit: I've edited the post detailing the operatrion a little bit so The Iron Guard is acting more on its own.
From who? The Mess? OMSK would react, FUN? Mess and OMSK would react, OMSK? Mess would react. Saddamstain? Is funding his enemy, the chance of him buying weapons are non-existent.Raj Ahten wrote:

From Libertian corruption. There are light armed choppers in Libertia and some prop aircraft.Seriously who can he buy from?
EDIT: this has been going for some time, but I'd like to re-iterate that YKM Vertolet (Yakovlev-Kamov-Mil) is ready to supply New Patria with helicopters.
If New Patria's military is more leaning towards NATO standards, of course my bid is meaningless, but in case it is more leaning towards WARPAC standards which some nations are, at least in parts of their militaries, it would make hell lot of sense.

"Shiela": hyper sensitive to light, possibly the result of her abuse of legal amphetamines (note the extra large coffee cups), very good at psycho-analyzing or cracking people's passwords.
