I thought it looked inserted, personally. The light playing on the face makes it look like a mask, however.

I think it's referring the vaguely evil face pattern you can see if you look for it in the swirly smoke dust stuff by the red circle. The kid is just decoration so to speak.

reminds me of an earlier one where we were looking so closely for zombies we missed the fucking T-rex. was that in this thread?
If a black-hawk flies over a light show and is not harmed, does that make it immune to lasers?

Apparently there was an idea to produce a card for the World of Warcraft card game based on him. The card wasn't released, but the art leaked onto the net.

This site talks about it and has a wallpaper version.
