Tian Xia Air Force: 11th Fighter Wing Deploys to Shinra Republic
The TXAF announced that the 11th Fighter Wing, composed of 45 F-22 fighters, would be deployed to the Shinra Republic to reinforce its air defence. Four KC-767s and two C-17s would be dispatched to assist with refueling and transport.
The SRAF said they were happy with the support, and that this would allow them to temporarily replace the SRAF 1st Fighter Wing, currently deployed to the Grand Duchy of Baal.

Emperor orders the rapid construction and installation of S-400 missiles. All S-300 regiments and remaining Aegis equipped Komneni destroyers not in CVBG have their radars hot and blasting the sky with radar
The country went on even higher alert today, with much of the theme regiments alerted to possible full mobilisation. Civil defence drills were conducted in possible anticipation of an attack. Lance fighter bombers were drilling with unmarked weapons and all defence batteries across the country were in full alert. Whether the country goes into Total War mode remains to be seen, but deemed fully possible.
EDIT: Construction and installation of the S-400 missiles will take some time as the munition factories undergo some measure of retooling and upgrading to make these missiles. Some of the factories making the S-300 will continue making the S-300 while others get retooled to produce the S-400.

Things never got dull in Libertopia. ProTec had continued with their mission as the international crisis grew. The biggest problem for ProTec at first were all the refugees streaming into Alexander's territory. At first, he refused all entry at gun point. He had supply shortages for his own people sometimes. ProTec was able to come up with a solution to this problem by engaging a number of NGO's. They would set up and run 3 refugee camps on the Northern border with ProTec providing security. This was done at severly reduced cost, at no profit, by ProTec. Alexander also got more food and medical aid for his own citizens in the bargain. Many refugee's were still turned around at other points on the border, however.
ProTec's strength in Alexander's territory had now ballooned to over 2,000 personnel. Many of them were engaged in convoy escort for aid groups, with the training missions for Alexander only recieving modest increases in personnel. This was dangerous duty, as occansionally terrorists from Walsley's territory would attempt to bomb the ProTec guards in retaliation for earlier airstrikes.
The investigation into the airfield bombing which had killed 18 ProTec personnel had progressed greatly as well. Four men and a woman who had been involved in the planning and execution of the attack had been identified through a combination of communication intercepts, forensic evidence, paid informants, and good old fashioned police work. The evidence was a little spotty, but it could probably hold up in a court of law. The only problem was getting the suspects. They all stayed in Walsley's territory except for some of them who had made trips to the Red Technocracy. ProTec handed the evidence over to Indhopal's government whose diplomats then set up a meeting with the Red Technocracy's Justice Minister. The evidence was handed over, even though it compromised some agents and methods. The Indhopal delegation asked the Minister of Justice to arrest and prosecute the five suspects when they next travelled to the Technocracy.
Just when it looked like things were being wrapped up, Survielence flights discovered the bases the Sultan's men had begun to build in the North of Alexander's territory. Suprising ProTec's commander's, Alexander first sent strongly worded warnings to the Sultan's people, telling them to clear out of his mountains or be destroyed. Meanwhile forces and materiel were moved to the North, along with ProTec's helicopters (they did a lot of the moving). ProTec's pilots were suprised to note a lot of advanced equipment being moved North, which came from many different nations. ProTec had suspected for some time Alexander had been aquiring military equipment through black market smugglers for some time. This seemed to confirm it.
Meanwhile:
The Nation of Indhopal was having good initial success with its new educational and health programs. Enough teachers and doctors had been recruited at the last second, and good work was being done.
ProTec's small arms producing subsidiary was doing very well at the higher end of the market, with their wares in high demand with Operators the world over. They announced they would start production top of the line assault rifles and SMG's as well as expanding their customized weapon bussiness.
The Governement of Indhopal didn't want to be merchants of death forever, so they announced they were taking bids for a contract to do a mineral survey of Indhopal, as no comprehensive survey had ever been done before.

The MESS has repeated it's earlier statement, condemning the Saddamistani attack on northern Terra Liberta, and calling upon the Saddamistan government to publically declare an end of hositilities:

While the MESS has so far not publically stated any intention to use these forces to intervene in the Saddamistan/Terra Libertia Conflict, many analysts believe it is only a matter of time before some form of action is taken.

The government of Indhopal relaesed a statement in which they said they were very concerned with the possibilty of war in Libertopia, and that they were willing to work with the international community in any way possible in order to help resolve the crisis.
The parliment also announced they were passing an emergency funding bill to add two batallions of reserve troops to the Military of Indhopal, and that construction would begin on fallout shelters and other defensive infrastructure. The cost would have to be taken out on loan for this year, as money didn't exist in the current budget. Given international tensions, the cost was considered well worth it though.

Tongdijuana Destroyer to Join Shinra Squadron
Navy officials have issued a brief statement indicating the lone destroyer of the Tongdijuana Navy is set to join the cruiser and pair of destroyers from the SRN operating off the south-western coast of the Republic. The Tongdijuana destroyer has recently completed outfitting bringing it up to the Argo-class (Burke Flight IIA) standard.

Triad members arrested
SARAJEVO-Three suspected triad gang members were arrested today by shadow police officers. The three men were captured while observing the Imperial Palace. It is unknown how these men managed to enter The Shadow Empire, it is speculated they entered as tourists. "We are still trying to determine why they were monitoring the imperial palace, home of our beloved emperor, but we will find out."-said one police officer.An official investigation is in progress.
In other news the imperial Minister of Finance announced that the emperor has decided to increase military spending, due to recent world events.

It will be impossible to continue prosecution of those individuals and groups involved with the financial support or entanglements with Pirate and Terrorist organizations. Finding no legal pretext to pursue them, and Still fearing retalliation from Manka over the failure to be able to convict Admiral Gere and his cabal under the Laws of the Republic, The Emporer has issued a proclamation of Persona Non-Grata to Admiral Gere, his immediate Staff, and the Crews of the Republic Military supply ships: Ghost, The P.O. 8, Fang, and Clemons. Furthermore PNG status to the crew of the Civlian Vessel Tom Joad, belonging to Republic Fuel Cells at the time of the incident, As well as The High Priest of Admirial Gere's Norse Church, and the Followers of a monastic order lead by an individual known as "Brother Tulka. These individuals are no longer welcome within the Bear Republic.

Wilkonian Military goes on high alert
No announcement has been made however sources within the Wilkonian Imperial Navy are now confirming that all leave has been cancelled and all ships with at least 75% manning have been surged Eastwards to help form an ABM line along with ships from the Lonestar Republic and Tian Xia. Further alert orders have gone out to Air Service units placing them on ground standby. As of yet no official statements or on record statements have been issued in regards to why the Navy is at sea while the Air Service remains in Wilkonia proper.
Sources in the Ministry of Defense have indicated that an announcement form and executive session of the MESS comittee will be forthcoming relevant to the actions taken. As of yet it is uncertain whether the First Councilor or the First Administrator will be the one to make the announcement but both President of the Shinra Republic and King Andreneas have been in conference for most of the past day. press officers have been alerted that a major announcement is forthcoming but not the content of the address.

Because of this, the Mushroom Military and the FUN's combined military command has, with the local government's permission, deployed assets to safeguard the Free State from any future aggression.

As the OMSK Pact has taken charge of bolstering Zoria's defenses, the FUN joint command has decided to concentrate its defensive efforts on Qudlivun instead - as the Free State is not nearly as militarized as its neighbors, making it especially vulnerable to foreign aggression.
The FUN taskforce is amongst the many military assets deployed alongside the the OMSK's and the MESS' to ensure the security of the regions north of Saddamistan, where, along with Qudlivun and Zoria (FUN and OMSK members respectively), the MESS nations of Shinra and Baal are located.

Operation Defend Liberty had begun. The ships of CJTF-4 were all at general quarters, the pilots alert to any response from the giant Saddamistan off to their north. In ships all over the massive armada in the south, officers and crewers alike wondered what would happen, and whether all of them would live to see the next day.
Forces from all over the MESS, in the Shinra Republic and Grand Duchy of Baal to the north and Adrianpolis to the east, readied themselves. They knew that with Operation Defend Liberty there came a real risk that Saddamistan would strike out at the alliance, and they would certainly be first in the line of fire. Further out, in Canissia, Wilkonia, Tongdijuana, Tian Xia and the Lone Star Republic, soldiers and national leaders alike held their breath and awaited the outcome.

The Shroomanian Air Force has deployed support aircraft to Fungal airbases in the Central Sea region, basing them in the Shadow Empire, PeZookia, Vanaheim and Qudlivun. The Mushroom Military and the FUN Command are currently coordinating with OMSK and MESS forces so that SAF support craft may be able to service OMSK assets as well.

After a long time being serviced, retrofitted, modified and upgraded in drydock - the Yer Mom and Yer Face are finally officially commissioned.
The submarine motherships Yer Mom and Yer Face have finally been officially commissioned after more than a year in drydock. In an unprecedented ceremony, both ships were simultaneously christened with the breaking of champagne bottles, and both ships simultaneously set sail - where they spared no time steaming for destinations unknown.
The advanced underwater warships are capable of launching cruise missiles and unmanned combat aircraft, or deploying spec-ops strike teams from underwater, or silently cruising unseen and unheard while performing surveillance operations. They first saw action during the Syndromian Strike, when they were rushed into service in the most arduous field-test imaginable.

"Send two more Arleigh-Burke Destroyers to Gottland to reinforce the pirate patrols," Arik said, "And let's get three Halifax Frigates down to the Libertia group. I don't know if the Sultan has submarines, and I don't know if Saddamistan will get squirrelly with their subs, but I want some ASW in the area."

Arik knew he was thinking of the amphibious assault ship, which Canissia doubled as an aircraft carrier-- but he feared that an Amphib would seen as a intent to take action in a landing assault, a message he clearly did not want to send. Besides, there were already other carriers in the area.

We have their assets spread evenly between Telesto, Stele, Dante, Raphael, Carnarvon, and Sacrificius. We have ensured that 1 battery of HUMRAAMs has been placed around each city. The 1st THAAD Battalion has been positioned to protect out southern coast also. Out 3 Brigades are still at their bases, but are ready to move out when necessary.
"The 1st Fighter Squadron has been redeployed to Dante to protect our southern front.
"The Navy has likewise been restationed to Dante as is actively patrolling our southern waters."
"Excellent, Minister Rumsfeld. Have we put out the word to our allies about them using our Airfields and Ports for stationing?"
"Yes, sire. We have put the word out. But as of yet, it has not been deemed necessary. Since we are the closest nation of the MESS to Saddamistan, and are only about 60 miles north of Saddamistan, it is only a matter of time before they start using our facilities."
