I got bigger problems. Namely, worrying whether or not that General Karis has stolen a Shadow Empire walking nuclear deathmobile tank! :P

And that's that. I'm going to bed now.

Well, as I said, everyone and their grandmother knows I'm up to my ears in deals in Alexander's region  But who said anything about helicopter gunships, tanks, IFVs or ballistic missiles?

EDIT: Or, for that matter, attack aircraft.

Of course, there's plenty of other stuff to ship in and we're also training him to high standards, which will reduce corruption, improve morale and bring order to the gal---er, General Alexander's region.

Aside from missile and nuclear warhead research, Saddamistans top research priorities are all in the field of fission power production, more specifically reactors for mobile applications. This started as a program for small reactors for the diesel submarines Saddamistan already builds, this project has already been successful and the subs are in production. Now it’s expanded to full power reactors for SSGNs, and wheeled and tracked mobile land power production reactors, including a small closed loop liquid metal reactor for an armored vehicle.

Saddamistan may be looking to buy some high quality high power compact electric motors, and some other sutff on the international market shortly.

Anything you openly know about anyway.

Lets review grand projects

White Sands- A full launch complex over thirty square miles of pavement and concrete. Nearly all buildings are partly underground, in fact they look very much like bunkers because the entire place was designed in case of fuckups. IE a VULKAN going 200 feet up, then coming 200 feet down and exploding.

Atlantis-A smaller but to the same skill and design international launch complex.

The UKB Fleet Port Facilities
Think German built U-Boat bunker pens, but big enough to hold anything up to and including destroyers. Spec'd per WWII scale, so it laughs off 1000 pound bombs, but 2000's could cause damage.

The UKB Military NBC shelters
Think Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, but dug DOWN not simply into the mountain. I liked the idea of digging a km down then putting a mountain on top of my command center.

Unlike NORAD however, these shelters are designed to be each seperate from each other, the giant center mountain on my land houses a few dozen of these.

And finally the UKB Remembrance statue

Bah! The LSR has several such bunkers!

None of the otehrs though. Jesus, underground rocket pads?

You mean to tell me you never thought for a second I would not deliberately use my Q-created land to ensure I had a giant dead volcano with which to built a secret underground base in?

:P
There was a point where I was determined to be this world's Doctor No, an officially recognized world leader in super villainy.

Then we all got serious and the dream died, oh well I still have my (projected) moon base.

It might be more economical for you to make one to Wilkonia.

Note all Bear Republic diplomatic offices in Atlantis have just been replaced with "Hearst Castle with a glandular problem", the Kane Estate does however now have a full staff, I'll try to ask Q tomarrow if we can have the refugees and journalists in Saddamistan instead of the ones she abducted from everywhere. Although I doubt she wants to give up her "Harem" (and for a reverse gender harem, it's going pretty much to type. The only attend the goddess when they have to, and for the most part keep to themselves since they now have the run of a Roman Bath with full gym, and several pools.

I actually was going to talk to you abotu a tunnel/bridge project but wanted to get the ball rolling for the LSR/Wilkonia tunnel. The only problem is that even at the point of closest approach we are still looking at a distance of roughly 70-75 miles. Now bydint of Q we can certainly declare ideal tunneling formations (as I did between myself and the LSR) but even if we commit now it could easily be 10 years before we see even the slightest connection. Moreover I would think we would also have to go smaller (single track tunnels with occasional sidings plus branch air/service tunnels) unless you really want to sink some cash into this.

As an aside Bean between the LSR/Wilkonia/Tian Xia you have three projects which include:

3 double traked rail tunnels running roughly 40 miles mostly under water along with service and air branch tunnels from Wilkonia to the LSR.

12-lane suspension automobile bridge running roughly 7 miles plus all of the associated interchanges, toll facilities, etc.

4 track cable-stayed rail bridge running roughly 7 miles plus associated interlockings and other connections.

"multiple" underwater petroleum pipelines running the same span as the bridges but entirely underwater and therefore partially covered.

So I'd say that qualifies as massive in adition to the construction of the facilites associated with the FIRE project, the continuing expansion of Fulton/Rocky Gap naval yards, the launch complexes on the LSR, etc.

You missed the initial, Lonestar claimed that my great works were of little matter, to which I had to respond or risk losing my trademark over the motto "Royal Engineers, When you need a bomb proof bunker or a 100 foot Statue of someone important and you need it fast, trust no other"
Bomb-proof bunker claims have not be evaluated by the FDA, subject to change, see your dealer for details

No serious, I think think that my one nation can out-build and out-preform three other nations, my point is simply I have enough heavy construction projects I can claim that one of my resources is a pool of well trained construction people, which I am currently farming out to other countries.

There are only so many bunkers and 100 foot statues of yourself you need after all.

I don't know, I could probably run out of reasons for building bunkers but given my rather near absolute monarchy Idont' see a reason not to have more 100' statues. Speaking of which I think I will comission one now to go in the Garden of Glorious Aversion to Crises. I shall entitle the statue "The King and his Glorious Fellows Stand Firm Against the Winds of Evil."

BTW you, me and Shroom should along with Byzantium should have a pretty good pool of engineers starting next year. Minas Morgil University is graduating it's first class of full engineers in 2011.
