OK, so here's my first vs. thread:

USS Sulaco (Aliens)

vs.

Omega Destroyer (B5)

Each ship knows the rough capabilities of the other. Allowable sources are the shows/movies and the technical manuals. Novels only if not contradicted by either of the above. Given the Sulaco's stealth and high priority on first strike capabilities and the Omega's higher acceleration and superior armor, who will win this fight?

What are the Sulaco's abilities? We didn't see it do anything in Aliens.

I unfortunately don't have the tech manual with me. I know it carries roughly half a dozen (maybe 8, don't remember OTTOMH) XIM-28 Long Lance missiles, has two neutral particle beams, 2 railguns, and 2 laser turrets, but I don't know energy output of those weapons without the TM. If anyone has the TM and could post pertinent information, I would greatly appreciate it.

Any hits by the Railgun on the rotating section would cause the Omega to tear itself apart..... and an Omega isn't exactly manueverable.....

If the Omega could destroy the Sulaco before it was destroyed then it might end up being a tie. However, we have no idea how much damage the Sulaco is capable of taking at this point..... so Im gonna call it in the Sulaco's favor.
