Humanitarian and reconstruction aid is en route to the Shadow Empire.

I have resupplied your BTR stock since it was destroyed, and given you 4 sparkly T-80s as a gift.

Also, soon there would be reconstruction.
Ah, Stas my glorious comrade. My thanks for your gifts.:D

The purging has already begun.

My thanks for your help, i will have them stand trial.
You have me mixed up with Baerne, seeing as I haven't directly spoken to Shady or otherwise said a thing about the situation in the Shadow Empire ever since I deployed my air assets to Shroomania. Confused
That seems to be happening a lot this days. :D
So, people, will anyone react to my discovery of Saddamistan's biological stockpiles, or it is "nuthin"?
I will react.

Our political options are sadly limited, and I await Saddam the Great's reply to the insinuation.

He admitted that he had biological weapons, "every imaginable kind", large stockpiles, etc. OOU. and IU has shown train traffic with frozen bioweapons across his entier Nation, and their existence in a plot point post.

But so far what response can he give? The only one who gave an ultimatum to investigate Saddam is me.

We should of course investigate, but there better be a joint response to this.

The issue I would find is whether he will see fit to ignore us. Pushing him to the corner will result in the sudden growth of mushroom clouds of doom, which I would very much hope to avoid.

Canissia will start hitting up immediate neighbors with the Good Neighbor Policy (non-use of nukes/WMDs in any regional conflict) and ask about coordinated plans vis-a-vis Saddamistan. We don't want to get caught in another cat-herding bunglefuck like last time.

I will react after Saddam the Great has reacted.
In fact I will lobby him to sign the old treaty.

Speaking of that, the original treaty, the original treaty banned the use of biological weapons, which everyone in the world but Saddamstain and one or two other isolationist powers signed on to. (Biologics Nonproliferation Treaty)

The secondary treat banned the development of Bioweapons period(Biological Weapon Ban)

Not everyone signed the second treaty including most of the late stage nations

You gonna financially back McFibblestein's campaign, fucker? :)

EDIT: Also, near-future plans for the LSR space program include a Hubble Telescope, and a Skylab Mk. 2(which was, in fact, the original design for the ISS and the recommendation the MIT board gave over 3 different designs. Al Gore killed it for the ISS in order to justify shuttle launches and international cooperation).

By the way, I am kickstarting Zor's space program.

To piss off Saddamistan, Zor's aerospace dudes are now working in Shroomanian territory. Royal Aerospace Research is an autonomous Zorian science group operating in the Comona Islands. They pay their rent and they give us science, and they can launch their Space Rockets!

When they start doing commercial launches, and if they are good, then we might pay them to launch our ShroomSats.

But until then, this... is... SCIENCE!

At some point the "reveal" that the International Space Agency is donating heavily to his campaign will come, but for now I'm going to blitz you country in adds.
It helps when I have a controlling interest in the only operational Satellite Television network

To note I do in fact have you both financially beat in the Space program, pound for pound nothing beats a Proton-M for performance, reliability and price(Which is why close to 350's have been built and launched and 334 of them worked exactly as advertised).
American rockets are good, and the Saturn V is a beast all it's own, but the then Soviets sat down to design a cheap effective rocket which even untrained conscripts could operate and it shows.

By using highly trained crews and better materials I improve the already idiot proof design and thus CONQUER THE WORLD!.... maybe not the whole world but parts of it.

---------
OAN, the Hubble is not a near term project, I looked at building one myself, 90% of the Hubble project was custom designed work, the mirror's, the arrangement the body and the design to shield the lense all required lots of little shops that had to be CREATED in order to even begin construction.

Which is why I peg construction of any Hubble style project at a minimum of eight years of devolpment before you can even start construction, there's just to many fiddly little parts that don't exist in Nova Terra because the only reason they existed was FOR the Hubble and it's successors.

Three issues with this Zor

1. Zorian's airspace people have been out of business for over a year, most accepted jobs in the Red Technocracy where they working under the umbrell with the OMSK space initiative so you don't have any workers
2. Zor lacks any space facility period, those not blow up, were sold off, in fact I'll declare a retro-con right now that large parts of the speciality hardware was bought by the UKB and transfered to Atlantis

3. This is what Atlantis International Space Center is for, it's a giant 50 square km zone where any person can bring rockets and launch them into space. Heck Tian Xia(Beowulf) launchs rockets from Atlantis all the time because it's cheaper(10 billion dollars) than building up the facilities he needs.

Shees, do I need to run an aid campaign?

Fair enough...I've been mentioning the "Deep space optical telescope" for awhile though.

And it will be kick ass

The Skylab mk2 will actually go up in two pieces(due to the Ares IV being the biggest working rocket we have)to be assembled later, with visits from the Orion CSM.

Also, nuclear rocket lunar probes.

Which brings me to: We need to have names for all the planets/moons and put them in the reference thread.

Not much I can do about it but my reaction would likely be total annihilation or they agree to let a third party search and destroy all biological munitions. I'm not really the best person to ask.
There are two kinds of people in the world: the kind who think it’s perfectly reasonable to strip-search a 13-year-old girl suspected of bringing ibuprofen to school, and the kind who think those people should be kept as far away from children as possible … Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between drug warriors and child molesters.” - Jacob Sullum

Unless...

HAY! Bear! Do you want to invest in some prime real estate to launch some space rockets from? I heard that Atlantis place was getting pretty crowded :P

Anyway, since when did the Zorian workers end up in the RT? I thought Shepnukistan bought them all for his bomb projects.

With this new job opening, I'm sure those Zorians working with the 'nukistanis would've tended their resignation letters. Working on bombs is baaaad! :P

EDIT:

EDIT 2:

On that note, it will be epic to see Shroomania squaring off against the Red Technocracy in the Olympics.

note as I pointed out we built an Electromagnetic launch site, that is now by OMSK and MESS aggreement useless, because either Shep or Lonestar will shoot down any payloads I try to launch from our rail gun. (though since I do have a giant nuclear powered rail gun, in my testing area, I might consider breaking it down, and moving it to some FUN nation near someone who keeps saber rattling on us, and threatening everybody with attack. Figure 2000 pounds of high velocity ceramics and light metal makes a nice bit of damage when it falls from the sky, and it doesn't take as much juice to use it as a grandfather gun/babylon gun then it did to use it as a launch facility.

So any takers for the Minas Morgil rail gun?

of other notes, nothing supernatural will be happening any time soon, one bit will be freaky, but perfectly explained. Oh and the cat that haunts the Electromagnetic Research facility is definatly not supernatural, just very good at alluding security and eating food that all the students give her.

No, Northray Corp owns and operates a satellite TV business. Of course, since we have it set up to only need one satellite for the entire archipelago, it was significantly cheaper to do.

WTH? The only stuff I launch from Atlantis is LEO stuff, since it's bad for business for someone from OMSK with an itchy trigger finger to blow a satellite out of the sky (amongst other things, that entire orbital plane is contaminated with debris).
