Oh, one final note. Anyone who wants to do a "meeting of the minds" or discuss revelations with me when I talk to you, we can do it over PM and post transcripts or something later.

One thing, the UKB won't meet in St Georges, two reasons, one it's out of the game since Simplicius has not posted in two "years" now, and I created Atlantis for a reason. The UKB will not attend.

Your choice. You weren't formally invited anyway. :P

Anyway, I figure the two of them won't want to travel too far. Plus, Atlantis is close to the UKB. The UKB who recently pulled a secret deal with Saddamistan, who recently blew the shit out of them.

So they probably wouldn't want to travel that far, and probably not to an island that used to be owned by the UKB and is largely 'protected' by your soldiers.

Hey if you don't want to bring your own soldiers to Atlantis to back you up I'm glad you trust me so much.

More to the point Ramsley and Alexander both have visited Atlantis and have been under my protection with no ill effects before. And I remind you that Alexander and Ramsley were un-touched by Saddamstain's attacks which targeted the Sultante.

If however you meant Ibrahim and that rebel General of his then fuck yes it's smarter to go to St George, I can't wait to put a bullet in either of their heads.

oh, and Wiki on Saffron

The world's single most expensive spice, and it's used in lots of anti cancer, anti aging drugs. not to mention it's harvest is extremely labour intensive. Oh and given it's numerous uses for FUN and other alliance Pharmacy industry, as well as Canassian and Bear food industries. We need to set a "Fair" if not inflated price in trade to get them harvesting and selling us the Saffron, which doesn't grow well in green houses, and only lives in near desert enviornments.

oh and welcome back Mr. President

I'm willing to take a look at it. The only issue is cost and incentive.

Well if we buy it at an intially inflated price due to scarcity (eg next to none being harvested) and start working down from there, we should produce two effects. 1. the pool of young, healthy individuals are going to be going from killing people/acts of terror. to farming. 2. once we have them restarting their own agricultural industries, they will be needing mills, water purification, roads, etc. in working order. Which will both deplete the warlords ability to wage war.

Is it possible to grow it elsewhere? I may not have written it down, but I do have an agriculture industry that dabbles a little in hydroponics and such.

The only issue is that, though it helps them and gives them incentive to lay down arms, some of them won't share the same idea. We might be fostering a huge black market as a result.

Basically it's grown in near desert enviornment, It likes rockyy, shitty soil, thus IRAN, IRAQ, Austrialia, New Zealand, some US, Mexico, Afganistan and India are the only places that can really produce it. It's very labour intensive so half of the world's supply comes out of the middle east. It's biggest compettitor for cultivation is Opium poppies.

Well, I happen to border Iraq and Iran by the way, since I took off parts of Turkey for my country.

Which means you should have the right kind of mountinus low yeild soil that it likes.

me and canassia have mountinus terraine, and everyone here has tropical weather so it's good for that. However me, Shadows, and Canassia have the only really active volcanos, (yet so many other nations sell coffee and choclate, but don't have volcanoes, which are nessessary for coffee and choclate.

I am Greece! The land of Saffron! :P (Literally. The Byzantine Empire is inherently Hellenic)

Well, yeah. I produce anything native to Greece/Turkey. I can produce the stuff you want, provided you get me the seeds. Agriculture wise, I'm pretty standard wheat and rice producer since the population eats pasta and rice and bread, and a number of other items like olive oil and such.

But that aside, it's possible to fertilize the soil with some volcanic soil if it comes to it. Purchasing some is possible?

It's not like I don't have enough, oh and unlike 2008's upper 7 point earthquakes and tidal surges, this eruption was only met with 5 point earthquakes.

Don't worry. Natural fertilizers are encouraged. I am inclined to form a trade deal. Saffron for volcanic soil? And also joint research in the use of Saffron? (Hippocratics Pharmaceuticals and the Biomedical Institute will handle that).
