do you mean all 10,000? or the entire 250 planned?
All 10,000.
Come to think of it the Feds could probably be over powered by ten prisoners with plastic spoons

RIP Pegasus. You died like you lived, killing toasters
Heck, even if the feddies had all their gizmos, they don't work half the time. If you are making a direct comparison, then the scroungers would have found, stolen, whatevered a tricorder and any other kit needed to create countermeasures. Hell they could walk up to the feddie gaurds and ask for all that stuff, and it would be given to them. Definitely all 250 get out at a minimum. Odds are the entire camp would be empty by daybreak.

That was disapointing ..Should we show this Federation how to build a ship so we may have worthy foes? Typhonis 1

That would be fun

The Idea of all of the Prisoners escaping is nice. There is a few problems with it. The major one is that the only 250 prisoners are ready for this escape. All of the others are doing their part by ensuring the camp feels normal on the escape night.

Fair enough. But let's be honest here. The feddies concept of security is to have some geezer in red pajama's stand around and try look imposing. They don't actually have a clue on how to do anything (except die - hence the term redshirts, watch Galaxy Quest to see what I mean).
To them a quiet camp would mean that the prisoners were behaving themselves. It would not mean that an escape was going on. So the odds of even unprepared escapees leaving is actually quite high. But for the sake of the scenario, then all 250 escape and the rest stay put to allay whatever suspicions might be aroused.[/b]

yes, the problem with more than the 250 getting out is only 250 have the forged papers they need to move somewhat freely through Germany. any others would know that they will be caught very quickly. This said once the 250 get out the Vermack will have major problems trying to track down these escaped prisoners. It pretty sure the Feddies will be sent to the Russian Front!
