How could any Klingon go up against Darth Vader? His lightsaber is better than their batleths, and the Force is better than their fists. Both by considerable margins.

Vader would spare Gowron's life because he knows he will win anyway, but Gowron would feel so enraged that he would bring his bat'leth down upon Vader but then be impaled by a lightsaber thrust.

Gowron: No I must win! I will attempt to do the impossible!
*Gowron grabs a ba'leth and attempt to do the Qu'nos quick quacker, but gets impaled on his ba'leth*
Vader: IT appears you are no match for the Dark Side
*does Qu'nos quick qucker with lightsaber, and succeds*
Council: You have shown power of unimagonable levels! We submit our empire to you!
Vader: The Force prevails yet again!

Personally, I think that Gowron and Vader should compete on one of those dating shows with the girl asking questions to the different bachelors.

I can see it, now....

Ditz: Bachelors, the Empire is losing a battle. What do you do?

Gowron (aka. Bachelor Number 1): I warn our enemies that in spite of the fact that my fleet is outnumbered there are more of us coming, eventually, and that their ship has been boarded by a hoarde of utterly incompetent, sword-wielding warriors.

Vader (aka. Bachelor Number 2: I send for an Imperial warfleet and crush my enemies.

And so on, and so forth. I think it would be more fair to both parties than either break-dancing or debating. While Gowron's bug-eye stare is (probably) a turn-off, so is Vader's face, underneath the mask.

What difference would it make? The only responses to a thread like this have to be facetious, because no one could possibly take it seriously.
