Macross F (Frontier) information and preview video.

Yeah, I just watched it. Still haven't found a subtitled version yet(help? pm) but that ep was more action than words anyway. The Macross Quarter attack was ridiculously badarse. I take it those of you who did understand the dialogue don't know any better who the guy in the VF-27 is?
lol, opsec doesn't apply to fanfiction. -Aaron

Attack Mode is ENTIRELY necessary. If they didn't have the humanoid mode, how would they have gotten Alto and Luca out? Huh? Huh?Nephtys wrote:Another observation: 'Quarter' is apparently named that way because it's 400 meters long, if gg's subs are at all right. So I guess that makes her a really small cousin to the Battle Section-types. Even with the entirely unnecessary humanoid mode
You say that like there's something tactically unsound about taking your space battleship into MELEE COMBAT with the enemy mothership . The best part about that scene is even the characters can't really believe they're doing it.Galvatron wrote:I just saw the latest episode. Actually, "saw" isn't the right word. I feel more like I had it injected directly into my veins! Best episode ever! It would make all the HAB members' heads explode!
Well, it doesn't have any full size Zentradi citizens. That seems to be pretty rare though, as 7 didn't either, bar Exedol and a couple of actors (who may even have been returned to full size for their roles), and everyone we see of Macross 5 is miclonised, and they're all Zentradi.VF5SS wrote:The Macross Galaxy does not have any Zentradi citizens. Which is why Sheryl was so surprised to see one.
As for why the fleets are different, they seem almost to be like city states rather than "colonies", as they have different laws and government structures as well.

Funny you should mention that because one of the latest updates to the official Macross Frontier page was a profile for Howard Glass. He is in fact not the president of the Frontier, but the president of NUNS.Vendetta wrote:

Can't be. He's not nearly that annoying.Galvatron wrote:A buddy of mine thinks the harmonica guy is the Frontier analog of Basara.
Also, he's morally ambiguous.
I suspect that sound energy has something to do with controlling the Vajra, and he and his morally ambiguous harmonica are either outright behind them, trying to control them, or somehow otherwise related to their activities.
Though the childhood friends thing isn't always a reliable guide.

This episode is silly. Very silly. Here's some highlights.
Egg-citing
This seems familiar
Ranka gets a new friend.
It looks so peaceful.

It's viral marketing, Japan style! Klan Klan's blog. The first entry says something to the effect of, "I'm Klan Klan! I'm Michel's girlfriend. I'm starting this blog. SMS LAUNCH! "
So yeah, she's with Michel.

There's the Vajra corpses that Alto passed on his way in as well; it seems this Mysterious Dude had to fight his way in.tim31 wrote:If he was outright behind them, he wouldn't have hesitated to shoot at Alto and Luca. We'll have to wait for more of a revealio.

He left it there, apparently, since Sheryl complains about him losing it in ep. #8.Nephtys wrote:Oh. And whatever happened to Sheryl's Earring when Alto bailed out of his plane?
Hilarious! The seven colored carrots love you!Nephtys wrote:What the hell was that last episode.
Also, Luca has a filthy mind. (NWS)

These kids don't love the carrots.Manus Celer Dei wrote: Hilarious! The seven colored carrots love you!
Even in the future, you can't get kids to love vegetables. Even the giant ones.

Doesn't help that Alto pretty much is that pussy-whipped though. (He's far too tsundere to admit the fact, but he is.)Manus Celer Dei wrote: Also, Luca has a filthy mind. (NWS)
It's always the innocent-looking ones. Please don't change, Luca. And try not to die.Manus Celer Dei wrote: Also, Luca has a filthy mind. (NWS)
