Particularly in this context, you could probably translate the bolded bit into, "racists who don't want a black president." Come to think of it, I've never met a self-described redneck who wasn't a little racist, even if they don't realize it or are subtle about it.
This is news? I thought it was nearly common knowledge that more than a few of Clinton's supporters would jump ship and vote McCain the first chance they got.

They describe themselves as "Reagan Democrats". I think that says it all; these people would have voted for McCain anyway, unless they got a Democratic candidate who was basically a Republican in Democrat clothing.

Which is what Clinton was to begin with.

Not really. It wasn't until about mid 1994, late 1995 that Clinton decided that being to the left of teh center here wasn't working for him, and decided to move to teh center and swipe a few things here and there, like welfare reform etc.....

Not really news no. But there are Clinton supporters who would never vote for Johnny McDouche would now will because they don't want Obama to win, either out of bitterness or racism.

And I would hardly call people that voted for her with every intention of jumping ship to vote R in the election Clinton supporters. Anti-Democrat saboteurs maybe...

Well alot of clinton supporters, especially the females voters, are voting for Clintion just because she is a women.

Alot of those 'femist' are so desperate to see a woman as president, that they don't really give a damn about Clinton's policies.

It's entirely possible that many of these "Hillary supporters" weren't even Hillary supporters to begin with. They may very well be Republicans disguised as former Hillary supporters. I certainly wouldn't put that possibility past the Republican propaganda machine after what we witnessed in 2004 with those "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" liars.

That's the dilemma I have encountered with some girls. They are like "I would like to see the first woman president but I like Obama too."

Interesting: this is from a poster on CNN about Hillary being veep candidate:
dumbass wrote: Why would she want it! The Dems will lose to McCain because they have alienated too many voters!

The biracial Obama didn't win - he was pushed over the finish line by super delegates in an infantile expression of instant gratification.

So there you have it - the Supreme Court elects Bush, and the super delegates elect Obama. Two losers - far right and far left. Bush = Obama. Two extremes don't = good change! :(

I have tried to wrap my mind around the despicable way the Dem Party and the far left media have engineered this nomination of a candidate totally unfit and unprepared to be president of the USA. I can't! :(

It is a nightmare but the American hero will win! :)

Former Dem supporter
This from a former Cunton supporter, who was herself counting on the Superdels to push her over the top? I cannot think of a more hypocritical campaign than Hillary Clinton's.

And the fact that they think the "American Hero"--Clinton--will win is just a bit scary. It sounds like someone who has been utterly and completely brainwashed.

My feeling is that many, if not most, of these women are blowing off steam now, but will come back to the fold by November. John McCain has a perfect rating from the National Right to Life Foundation. How many feminists are going give that guy a chance to put three justices on the Supreme Court?

Good point. They might stew in their juices for a while. Hell, they might even put a McCain/Other Rich Old White Man '08 bumper sticker on their car or sign in their yard in their bitterness. But as soon as the ads start popping up about McCain's unambiguous intention to appoint justices that would overturn Roe v. Wade, they'll get over their gender-induced rage.

Also, it's important to note that the above applies to white women, mainly. Black women consistently went for Obama throughout the entire primary season, so there's no reason for that to suddenly change now.

The same thing that McCain's opponents cited months ago when they said they would rather vote Democratic than vote for McCain. Turned out they were all just blowing hot air.

On the other hand McCain's opponents didn't say that if they didn't win the Democrat would be a better president than McCain. They may have been his opponents but they never seemed to be his enemies.
I'm pretty sure it was posted somewhere here that Hilary said outright that McCain would be a better president than Obama. If she keeps up that line no matter how subtle, it will hurt the Democrats at the polls.

A lot of it, I hope, is just blowing off steam. However, I am not ready to discount the fact that a lot of Hillary's supporters were and are just racist scumbags.

Anyone who calls the US media "far left" is obviously so full of shit some indoctrination (or irony of a staggering scale) has to be involved. Seriously, when was the last time the American media advocated marxist revolution?

THe above is one more reason I think many of the hillary "supporters" are Republican plants...show me a single Dem who uses "Far LEft" to describe our news meadia.
