Two hours until stuff happens on the ninth episode of the final season.

Is it too late in the game to hope that "felgercarb" will pop up someday?

I'm starting to think that Billy will never be revealed as the final Cylon :(

New fifth hypothesis: The dead priestess. Which makes sense considering the reveal of only 4.

It sounded like it might be scripture.

Either that or some Caprican epic.

I loved baltars little attempt to turn the centurian
For I dipt into the future, far as human eye could see,
Saw the Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be;
Saw the heavens fill with commerce, argosies of magic sails,
Pilots of the purple twilight dropping down with costly bales;
Heard the heavens fill with shouting, and there rain'd a ghastly dew
From the nations' airy navies grappling in the central blue;

By the way, when Gaius started telling the Centurion about God, I thought...well...this cannot end well at all.

^ My thoughts exactly. But unless he had broadband in his skull, it's not gonna matter, cause he is one dead toaster.

I was surprised Helo and Eight didn't bring some Centurion backup to the Hub. It really looked like the Cylons weren't trying very hard to defend it. I'm betting Boomer got away and leads the aggressor Cylons now, though I wonder how considering the basestars in the area looked pretty fried.

This is the guy they want to use to win over "young people?" Are they completely daft? I'd rather vote for a pile of shit than a Jesus freak social regressive.
Here's hoping that his political career goes down in flames and, hopefully, a hilarious gay sex scandal.

Compared to the rest of this season, this is easily a 5. Finally, someone (and someone who likely isn't going to die before she tells others) learns of Baltar's betrayal. A space battle, Baltar's humor (and attempted conversions), Helo's dilemma, the list goes on and on. An episode that finally gets us somewhere.

Once again, I was especially loving McDonnell's acting. The scene with Baltar as you saw her work through the terrible horror of what Baltar was and who he was was priceless. Her visible shaking at the realization of what he had done, everything. Unlike the Athena-shooting episode, you could really see her working through what she was going to do, rationalizing it, everything.

Next week looks equally compelling. Indeed we finally get some reveals. And being the last one till the fucking break, we all know it will end in a cliffhanger.
It's Jodan, not Jordan. If you can't quote it right, I will mock you.

Couldn't agree more. Also: counter missiles! Since base ships' only weapons are their missiles, I had assumed that only the raiders were tasked with point defense. Against vipers maybe, but not against similar missiles!

I thought it was a solid five all around, and next week definitely looks like it'll be a doozie.

Anybody else check out the Cylon flight suits? Looked kind of like something right out of 70s Doctor Who.

Damn, I'm behind. The episode previous to this isn't on Sci-Fi rewind and I'd like to catch it and "The Hub". :?

They looked like something the Brotherhood of Nod would issue. Which I'm probably thinking of because of Six and Sharon being the ones wearing them.

Only in a Basestar for a few minutes and already proselytizing to a Cylon Centurion. :)

I'd love to see a Centurion show up at one of Baltar's sermons, or become one of the rebels' higher-ups, just for sheer what-the-fuckness. I have the mental image of a Centurion appearing before the quorum with a suit painted onto its armour.

I think it's primary defense was the fact that it was so damn hard to find. They probably never really considered the idea of cylon civil war, much less that a group of cylons would want to end the abiity to download. Let's not get into the idea of a human-cylon alliance to destroy the thing.

Yeah, Baltar was talking about a dog in that scene, and I loved how the Centurion tilted its head (ROWR?!?) in true canine fashion.
