Hillary's says Yes we Can(Endorse Obama Speech)

Post by Ender »

Anyone else watching this? I think we need to elect Barack Obama our President.

Also, loved how she repeated all her talking points of the past few weeks, said elect Obama about 2 dozen times, and then blamed her loss on the glass ceiling.

Kinda disgusting how she's still talking about suspending her campaign rather then outright saying that it's over. What is she hoping for, some miracle that takes Obama out of the race?

What I was hearing was that it was a technicality which would allow her to still receive donations and possibly clear the almost $30 million in debt her campaign has racked up.

It's pretty disgusting that she would trick someone to donating at this point - just so that she can clear her own debt.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, this is a fairly common political maneuver. It's not just something she did.

Mitt Romney did the same thing when he pulled out of the Republican primary.

Well to be frank and to the point, Hilderbeast has spent the last two months of the primary reminding everyone that she's got a vagina and playing the reverse race card(Dumb poor racist people don't vote for that nigger, so you must elect meeee)

Then her Rove inspired "I won the popular vote once you don't count states and give Obama 0 votes from Michigan." and she's deliberately built up the perception that she did not LOSE the primary rather than it wsa stolen. In review even with todays speech she spent so much time over the last two weeks building up the impression you can no concluded anything but that she's aiming for a 2016 if not a 2012 run.

In any case, she's out of the race, and has endorsed Obama (and will campaign for him). With that, I couldn't care less whether she's planning another run in 2012 or 2016; there's been political reconciliations from more acrimonious opponents before (the Kennedy-Johnson competition was pretty acrimonious in 1960).

Is it just me or she better at double talk then even her hubby?

She seems to have managed to have quit without quitting or at least admit she's lost.

It's hardly a trick. She's asking her supporters--big money supporters especially--to help repay her debts. If she disbands her campaign, a whole different section of the tax code and election law come into play.
