Yeah, I'm having trouble believing the PB&J one. But most of the other ones seem quite believable.

It seems that the PB&J sandwich was invented during WW 2. Though jelly was invented back in the 15th century, peanut butter at the end of the 19th century, and pre-packaged, sliced bread in the 1920s.

So the earliest PB&J sandwiches could've turned up at the start of the 20th century, up to the 1920s, though food historians don't see any mention of them until around 1940.

So, by the accepted set of criteria, John McCain is younger than the PB&J sandwich. If you fudge a bit, though, you could argue that the first, undocumented PB&J sandwiches were around before him.
