The Monarch: "Anyone wanna explain to me why my coccoon is charred?"
24: "Because you told us to blow it up"
The Monarch: "And why it is sideways?"
21: "We were following orders! You can't yell at us for following orders."
24: "Or kill us for following orders."

www.scifi.com/rewind has a few episodes up of nBSG up. They don't have "The Hub" episode up yet though which is really irritating.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
I have a feeling of what that is. Again, I won't say any more until the morning.JediToren wrote:Just saw it. Holy frakking shit. That was awesome and amazing. Does any of that look familiar to anyone? Since this isn't a spoiler thread I won't say more.
My brother and sister-in-law: "Do you know where milk comes from?"
My niece: "Yeah, from the fridge!"
My niece: "Yeah, from the fridge!"
Dude, I saw that, and I have a pretty good guess what that is suppose to be.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
1) Tigh wins for brass balls.
2) Lee jumping on the plotting table was hilarious.
3) Holy FRAK for the end!

I hate sounding like such a fanboy, but Jesus Christ, that was probably the best fucking episode ever.

Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know...tomorrow."

The constellations would be a big clue, which Gaeta said "matched" with what they found on Kobol.CaptJodan wrote:So the Viper was the final Cylon? No, surely not.
This is quite interesting. Could anyone tell if it was actually Earth? Like, did anyone get any glimpses of land that looked familiar?
Did anyone else catch what looked like a crucifix on the ground?

1. WOW.
2. Five all the way. Hell, six if I could.
3. Now I see how they said this episode could work as a series finale if it had to.
4. WOW.
5. MORE!! "Whenever" is going to be just too long to wait. At least we'll have some webisodes soon to tide us over.
Also, I said it'd be awesome if they reached Earth and it was Planet of the Apes. Well this is close enough for me.

Wow. Amazing. Tigh has the biggest balls in the fleet. He is a bad ass among bad asses.
Depressing episode. Did anyone see Selix? Was she one of the victims of the hostage situation. (Mostly redshirts I assume.)
The fifth cylon is not in the fleet, so where is it?
Great cross over for fan fiction, "Earth that was".

Some more thoughts. Can't expect not to have an insta-post after something like that.
-Adama's reaction to Tigh was awesome.
-Tigh's brass balls equally awesome. I was really pulling for him, hoping he wouldn't suddenly turn on the humans. He finally stood up and did the right thing.
-If it wasn't obvious when she spaced Cally, Tori is a grade A bitch. I deeply hope that Tyrol finds out what she did to his wife at some point.
-I too enjoyed Lee jumping up on the combat table there.
-Assuming this really is Earth, I can hardly be surprised by the end result. From the beginning, I wondered just what the hell they were expecting. They have been out of contact with the thirteenth tribe for thousands of years. No one stopped to think that it might be possible that they weren't around anymore? Or that they were hostile? Or that they couldn't do jack shit to save them? Anything? You led your people to (potentially) a dead world. Shoulda seen it comin.
-"You had hair" I love that line.
-A dying leader....wasn't she not supposed to make it to Earth?
There's a lot to resolve here, and if there's one thing I'm happy about (assuming this is Earth) it's that Moore didn't pull a Voyager "Endgame" on us. We have 10 more episodes to see the fallout from this.

It's Jodan, not Jordan. If you can't quote it right, I will mock you.
I said the same thing, actually. "Holy shit, they've landed on the Planet of the Apes. Charlton Heston is the 5th and final Cylon!"Spanky The Dolphin wrote: Also, I said it'd be awesome if they reached Earth and it was Planet of the Apes. Well this is close enough for me.
