I think that the only reason we hate incest and pedophilism is cause we were influeced by the society we grew up in to believe in that way. If we took all social context and environment out, and assumed the adult used birth control, was gentle, and the child consented, there'd really be nothing objectively wrong with that situation.

About the child being too immature: My opinion is that the reason why the child suffers psychologically is cause he/she realizes that the act he/she committed is taboo and heinous in the eyes of the society he/she grew up in. But if society took it as okay, then I think the child would not be harmed psychologically.

Note that this is all if social context and environment were changed. In our world today incest/pedophilia is taboo. But in the far, far, FAR future, when we get over much of our social constraints (many brought on by religions such as Christianity), stuff like pedophilism may become legal, and even morally acceptable.

And like I said before, the above was only an opinion. You may deride it, reject it, and burn it down if you wish.

And despite the example that pedophiles set for childern, they still don't consent fully or even properly. They will always be too young to know how to handle it, and the age gap by default sets it up into a domination/submission situation.
