Okay, I've been approved for a visit to the USAF museum's research division on Monday the 4th of August, with the possibility of extensions through the rest of the week.
I of course will be bringing a laptop and a scanner.
What aircraft should I aim for?
I'm assuming you guys all want the following:
B-36B,C,D,E,F,G,H,J
B-47
B-52xxxx
XB-70
XF-108
But beyond that, I'm at a loss....try for the XF-107 and perhaps XF-103?
(PS -- in case you don't know what a SAC is, here is the F-14A's SAC from 1977; scanned in by me)
F-14A SAC, 1977 -- WARNING 12 MB or so
EDIT:
Wait!
XP-72!
P-51H!

You are not to leave until everything is digitised.
I love the smell of September in the morning. Once we got off at Richmond, walked up to the 'G, and there was no game on. Not one footballer in sight. But that cut grass smell, spring rain...it smelt like victory.

Any X-planes you can find. X-15 of course, X-1 would be interesting as well. Maybe F-117?
