Who knows despite concussion I'm on my way, I WANT THAT JACKET!!!

I mean even with one arm burned off, it still looks cool in a mad max kinda way. And I am so much about flash and thunder. (I probably should be an Ork....)

I can't decide whether a one armed jacket or a no-armed jacket looks cooler.

I think it'll look a little rediculous either way unless you can get a new arm (armoured or not) for it. Scorch marks 'n all!

Crap, I just realized that the Mechanicus respirator unit implant should interfere with my ability to make facial expressions, because it covers the lower half of my face.

Let's just have it integrated into the upper chest, throat, and lower jaw (starting from the chin), so it merges nicely into the cyber-mantle but doesn't obscure my lips (hence helping to explain why I have an unusually high fellowship for a Techpriest).

I figure it varies greatly, anyway. Can be entirely internal if you want, there's no real in-game issue with where your stuff is.

The fact that I survived getting shot in the head twice with "hyper-density penetrators" aka "body blowers" implies entertaining things about the thickness of my character's skull.

For my next trick...heavy bolters rounds!

Did I burn a fate point there and not realize it?

That's just the hunting rifles (hence going through people's armour quite nicely) used by the snappy dressers. The autoguns are loaded with ordinary bullets. Each of the snipers had one clip of these, and two clips of normal ammunition.

What. You think I'm letting you people near clips loaded with 3,000 thrones of bullet each?

Also, today I thought of what you guys are going to be sent after for your next escapade. It's sick. Sick sick sick.

They've already spent more thrones trying to kill us than our merry band has worth in equipment and money combined.

If you're feeling particularly mercenary, you could try to find (the ones that aren't actually stuck in someone) and keep hold of the bullets they've shot at you so far. That's another six hundred thrones worth of bullet. Though you'd probably only get 25 per bullet selling them to a lay-follower near the nearest AdMech shrine (not in this town, mind ye) for re-casing.

Well, at least we have comm gear now. After a thorough scrubbing and we make sure that we won't be broadcasting any conversations we have straight to our enemy.

And while I realize we're short on cash, let's hang onto the remaining armor-piercing rounds for a while...just in case...

Oh, we're definitely hanging on to those, and re-casing whatever ones we can recover.

As a sidenote, I'm definitely spending my next 300 XP points on Sound Constitition. If NecronLord's throwing guys with 100-throne-a-piece bullets at us already, I want to have as many wounds as possible. I almost expect him to send guys with Bolters and full carapace armor after us next.

Must stop trying to combine things, I'm probably giving Nec. ideas.

Wow, a full-blown Chirurgeon? Even I can't afford that, and I'm the richest character in the group. Looks like we're going to have to have the bill forwarded to the good Proctor.

Yeah, I was just expecting a couple of medicae. This may have been a mistake, but we must have access to some serious resources given the fact we've got a private aircraft carting us around.

We just don't have extra money to blow on booze, hookers, and powered armor

It's a paradise world (though you are trailing around the shitty bit where they put the witches), and you're doing the callout on the Ministorum's tab.

On the downside, Mithras failed the tech use roll to figure out how to get that activated comm. bead onto recieve only. Though I suppose I could be persuaded to give that another shot for a fate point.

Yeah. I just went with a random cult seeming symbol that wasn't too sinister looking.

I was kinda trying to get at the fact that there's tracks on the ground... according to one of the narrative posts.

Oooh, you mean I was transmiting when I talked with it on?

Completely forgot, I guess it'd be a good idea to burn a fate point to reverse that.

'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'
