Stark's relentless doomsaying aside, I'm looking forward to this.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it either, but that's just me clinging to the faint hope that the insane amount of things thrown together might actually work and be a good episode.

I doubt it though. I once saw a tv cooking show, where the guy had combined about 12 different expensive ingredients, and the end result was bland and tasteless. The following week, a different guy tried the same thing, although not with as many ingredients, and pulled it off, but he was a genius at cooking. I'm inclined to put RTD in the former category. We'll see. The daleks can bring their egg whisks, anyway.

I'm sure even if it's not that brilliantly written there'll be enough sheer spectacle to keep me entertained.

Well, the length of the two eps are known now - The Stolen Earth is 50 minutes and Journeys End is 65 minutes long.

Most of that time is taken up with credits

I can't get most of that most recent video.

It only goes as far as 'the crucible is ready' or whatever. Though at least there's an excuse for not just blowing up the planet in there.

Aaaand... The shields are nerfed. What? They don't instantly vapourise paintballs?
Urgh.

Also from elsewhere Richard Dawkins, as himself.

I'm told, but can't confirm Dalek Sec is in it... Somehow. Personally, I like him.

The REALLY old ones could just be taken apart by hand and climbed into and driven like a golf cart. :) Those luddites!
Ffft. Ian Chesterton isn't a luddite! And to be fair to 'em, they cut the power by pushing it onto a cloak (!) first. :P
And just being thrown into a wall by your plunger manipulator. Anything to overpower they're powerful 9V battery motors without breaks.

Having now watched Dartzap's link, I'm somewhat more optimistic. Somewhat... :?

It's spoilerific though.
