It's sad that I can tell at a glance that the one on the left is probably a regular German-SS guy, who served on the Russian Front, and is probably there to train the other two, who are members of the 'Handschar' Regiment, and the one on the far right appears to have served in the Crimea; and this picture takes place somewhere in Yugoslavia.

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

It's a Model 39 Eihandgranate. However because the picture is uncolored it could be a simple signal grenade, an explosive grenade, a smoke grenade or a illumination grenade.

Does anyone have that old picture of a bunch of American soldiers in Iraq playing with a little remote controlled truck with a grenade in its bed?

Or maybe they were part of that program to stick grenades to kittens and train them to run under Russian tanks.

To be fair to that particular soldier he is wearing the old 3 color desert camo which means that the picture in question predates Army Strong.

Because the junk food industry is heavily subsidized by Uncle Sam, while healthier things aren't. The owners of the restaurant are just aping the trend.

Yes, and he's probably already walked ten miles with the damn thing. And any number of other "to be fair" type things could certainly be said about the soldier in question.

But that's not the point now is it?
