Should we invade the Creationist/Fundamentalist Boards?

I have been hearing about several Creatie/Fundie sites here. And the idea of invading en masse to try and show them how they are wrong.

I decided to put this to a vote for this whole forum to decide.

Personally I could care less but if we say yes I will follow you into the breach.

Anyway, it's enough work for me keeping up with 3 or 4 threads at a time on _these_ forums, let alone considering such a futile proposition as belabouring the obvious at a bunch of fundamentalists (hell, the occasional ones who make it here are relatively logical, open-minded examples of the breed!)

Sure, you all can do that if you want to. While you may have fun giving the creationist a smackdown that even Stephen J. Gould would be proud of, don't expect to win any of them over.

Idealy, you need to find people who are very knowledgeble at biology, geology, chemistry, and astrophysics. That way, if they give us some probability bullshit concerning amino acids, our chemist guy could lay the smack down. If they give shit about light slowing down, the astrophysics guy gives the smack down, and etc.

What exact board did you all have in mind?

Yes, yes, let the invasionbegin. I'm up to invading some ignortant creationist board. One Creationist board I've been to actually banned a guy who was debating to well against the site owner over a topic that would support the creationists and the site owner was losing so he banned him.

I'll go along with an invasion, I say we start with gp4teens. When we register with thier forum please put AIIF infront of your name, so we don't end up argueing with ourselves

I have posted on the gp4teens board, mainly concentrating on mathematical, statistical and simple logical errors, but so far only one post has shown up. I am not sure whether this is simply a system glitch or the 24 hour verification process is actually a censor mechanism.

Yes... its true. We may soon be invaded. Thats why I must push if you haven't voted yes, do it quickly, and if you already voted keep them ato their own delusions, change your mind. If we do not a pre-emptive strike and keep those creationists at there website, we will be drwning in creation support threads. I prupose going there enmasse as not to allow them to make a counter strike on our boards as Mr. B wanted to do. Remember, be all that you can be, vote yes on the invasion and join the invading force.
