Are there any Trekkies on this board?

Post by Ben Ingram »

Yes, I know the Empire would dominate Star Trek, but it seems there aren't that many Trekkies on this board. It'd be nice if they'd come here and post their useless posts so we could point out the errors of their ways.......

You are going to fit in well here

Then again spammers aren't welcome so you better curb the amount of threads you start.

Hmmm, this is an interesting specimen. What could it be? Simply a rabid warsie, or a form of a mike_6002 clone that tries to gain respect through acting like he's a big leet debator. Odd indeed.

I'd say Tiny Yapper best fits until more evidence is presented.

Dude, I just finished reading some of your posts. Are you just completely and totally anti-trek or something?

I actually used my psychic powers to steal a future post from a thread called, "Watch me type one-handed".

He is trying a wee bit too hard. Here's a wee idea Ben, chill. Starting silly threads covered ages ago will only piss us off.

He's another new we idea for ya. Trekies and Warsie can and do co-exist. If you don't like it ur on the wrong board.

Our regular trekkies here basically have already conceded the military Empire vs Feds debate.
Most of the time we focus on issues of smaller scale.

Now stop creating useless threads which make you look like a braindead rabid warsie (which are no better than rabid trekkies).

I personally like a lot of Trek, but I'm not rabid or anything. I have no problem with admitting Wars would hand Trek its ass. But I also am cool with Wars too, so I guess I'm more balanced about it. <<<shrugs shoulders>>>

Having lurked around this whole debate for quite a while, I'd say Ben is simply a snot-nosed kid with delusions of grandeur. He's probably about 15 and just discovered the whole debate. "Whoo-hoo, look at me. The Empire can kick Star Trek's ass."

This guy is what Trekkies like Gothmog and Lord Edam would call a wheat thin cracker. He's easy to devour and a little tasty, but ultimately unsatifying.
The gift of Superman is the same in his universe as ours. It's not about his powers, his costume, his persona, it's about the using the gifts he has to help people. We all have gifts too, maybe we can't leap tall buildings in a single bound, but maybe we're good with math, maybe we're charming. We can use our gifts -whatever they are- to help people. We just need to make that choice. And Superman shows us that it's possible.

I'd say he's part rabid Warsie and part poser. He wants to be "one of the people" like Mike_6002 did, so he starts a bunch of threads and acts like he's so big.

In the absence of rabid-Trekkies, I say we all take apart this noob's posts.

Anyways, not exactly a good way to make a first impression? We have several resident Trekkies whom do not make "useless posts" likeyoudo. They oftentimes make very valid and intelligent points about...whatever.

Oh, and Ben, I doubt anything would happen to you here, but generally it is NOT a good idea to put your name in your moniker, especially if you are under 18...

What about them? He hasn't said a goddamned thing. "Vader could force control a borg drone and control the whole collective" and "The Empire could win if it just send a huge fleet to Earth." What's there to take apart? This guy's posts have contributed less to this board than mine have.

True. I suppose it would be easier just to tell him to STFU, as everyone has already thought of the strategies that he proposed.
