I support the move for common rather than custom title though I am agnostic on which common title.

VI is good, but there is nothing that prevents Incoherent Babbler becoming another generic label. Most of our VIs have been stupid as bricks but their posts have been readable. Retarded Spambots have tended to post a fuckload of crap, which while readable has been inane, pointless and stupid. And then we have the morons like Saberist who you just can't make heads or tails of without expending a fuckload of resources just to force your eyes to stay on the post instead of glazing over. That's a category on its own.

It's not about acclimating to the board, it's about being an obtuse overwinded retard. He started with large tangetial posts that had little to no application to the topic. This is considered a hijack. When it was split and noted, he didn't step back and think, he just plowed forward. When given advice on what to do and to make more sense of his long winded personal diatribes, he lashed out at the benefactors, all the while avoiding all and any real debate.

Ender has been personally the only one who thinks there's something there, and to be honest...I see that as grasping at straws. Saberist's current method is to rail that people used profane language at him and dodging of any debate on his points.

There's one thing taking time to learn, there's another to go "I go to other boards, and I don't have time for YOUR rules and community stylings!". He's nothing more then a long winded teenager with delusions.

GR details my reasons for posting the discussion far better than I could. However, I was also disturbed by how many of these worthless, rambling threads Saberist posted in such a short time. Notice how quickly they hit the HOS as well. To me, that was a sign that the Senate should at least look at the problem, thus I opened a discussion.

Exactly right, and it certainly looks like he has not read the rules of the road.

The guy has by his own admission said he has not read the rules and thinks that he does not need to. This came to light earlier today over a matter that was brought to my attention. Had he said what he did to a moderator, he would already be banned and this thread would be pointless. I have sent him a PM over that particular subject and we shall see how he responds.

Got no response from him yet. The reply he did make was to a regular user and was in effect "Ban me if you dare". If he'd said that to any moderator directly, he'd be permanently gone.

I'm not sure this really needs our attention. He'll tire himself out soon enough and will probably get frustrated when people have trouble following his posts and either don't respond or selectively respond.

I think there really is substance to some of his ramblings, but its entombed in such spastic drivel that it's hard to get into.

I kinda wish we could alter his account to post only in the HOS, where he could spam away to his heart's content and we could keep him around as Court Jester.

If he has such low regard for our rules, why does he think we need to read pages of rambling "enlightenment" from him?

Any further discussion is moot. I got a response to my PM and Saberist has directly dared the moderators to ban him. I expect that as soon as Ozymandias or one of the other admins logs in, we will have a new Parting Shots entry.
