Yeah, what?

The second Death Star's size ballooned to about 900 kilometers in diameter, far larger than the original, and featured a superlaser of greater power. Not only could this prime weapon deliver a more devastating blast, but it could fire more often and with greater accuracy.
The second Death Star, if completed, would have featured over 30,000 turbolaser batteries, 7,500 laser cannons, 5,000 ion cannons and 768 tractor beams.

The Death Star II always looked like it was grinning to me.

I remember reading a "report" linked to the Wikipedia article for the Death Star, in which the writer claimed the Death Star II CANNOT be 900 kilometers in diameter. (The link has since been removed from Wikipedia.) Now that Lucasfilm has made an official statement to confirm the Death Star II IS 900 motherfucking kilometers in diameter, that'll silence A LOT of Trekkies' arguments against the Galactic Empire's industrial capacity.
Edit: Changed "meters," which is incorrect, to "kilometers."

Please do not make Americans fight giant monsters.
Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.
They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)

19 km Executor, and the blurb for Order 66 speaks of "hidden armies". Still utterly insipid, as the problem was how do they fight a galaxy wide war of attrition, but a slow step in the right direction.Fire Fly wrote:17 km SSD............................check

So the DS2's been popped up another 100KM. Interesting.
So with a radius of 400KM it had a volume of 268,082,573 cubic KM, a 450KM radius would give it a volume of 381,703,507 cubic KM. That's a 42.3% increase in volume.
Do we have any figures on crew complement?
Also, The Complete Locations gives the same figure.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

This is the guy they want to use to win over "young people?" Are they completely daft? I'd rather vote for a pile of shit than a Jesus freak social regressive.
Here's hoping that his political career goes down in flames and, hopefully, a hilarious gay sex scandal. -Tanasinn
