That is Mephisto, as he appears in Ghost Rider (in which he is only referred to as "Mephistopheles" or "the Devil").Crazedwraith wrote:Who is the guy to the left of Ducard and to the right of what I assume to be a very thin Michael Clarke Duncan's Kingpin. The pale guy in the black.

These are simply awesome. I am in jealous awe of Publius' talents at drawing.

The third in the series of heroic characters by period (chronologically second), set around the turn of the century. From left to right: The Lone Ranger, Little Nemo, Tarzan of the Apes, Professor Abraham Van Helsing, M.D., D.Ph., D.Litt., Sherlock Holmes, Arsène Lupin, Rudolf Rassendyll (disguised as King Rudolf V of Ruritania), Phileas Fogg, and Peter Pan.

I feel kind of bad that I recognized Blackheart but didn't put it together that the other guy was Mephisto, and he was the only one I didn't figure out.Publius wrote:Mephisto and his son Blackheart, respectively; both appear in Ghost Rider (although the film only refers to Mephisto as "Mephistopheles" or "the Devil").

For the comic book movie villains, where's Colonel Stryker? (Brian Cox's Stryker looked a bit like Orson Scott Card, incidentally).
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.

Stryker may well be a comic book movie villain, but he hardly qualifies as a supervillain.
King Arthur Pendragon
Sir Launcelot du Lac
Both suits of armor and the poses are taken directly fro Osprey Publishing's English Medieval Knight 1300-1400 due to the artist's unfamiliarity with the period dress and inability to draw any satisfying pose for either. The arms, however, are the traditional ones attributed since the fourteenth century (Azure, three crowns Or and Argent, three bendlets Gules). Both wear 14th century armor rather than the proper 8th/9th century armor largely because Sir Thomas Mallory imagined them in more contemporary fashions in Le Morte d'Arthur.

The Ash Williams one could use a redo, it's a bit smudged and it's hard to make out anything of his amputated hand.
The GR and James bond pictures are Very nice out of this batch.
You might want to consider practicing your heads more, they look a bit unnatural or unpracticed, in the framework of your distinctive style. (The last Luthor picture as an example that springs to mind from this page).

Ash's eyes are a bit off, but I still say FUCK YEAH!
The reason why his amputated hand is hard to make out of is because it's uncompleted, probably doesn't fit in the paper, or something.
Publius, I say you're awesome, and maybe you should try inking your drawings (srsly).

There may eventually be a 17th century group shot (similar to the previous three period group shots), probably including d'Artagnan (earlier in his career and in less stylized dress), the three Musketeers, Cyrano de Bergerac, and Cardinal de Richelieu.
At long last, the Rocketeer. He was regrettably excluded from the 1930s group shot (mostly due to the artist forgetting to add him). Therefore, to that end:

The recent series of character studies are all the results of a recent policy of doing at least one character drawing per day. The policy is pursuant to a large-scale project currently in the works.

The last few are great, but the Doctor's face really needs redoing, he looks as though he's in a Jack Napier inducted rictus.
Also, Mario should have slightly larger hands, or at least gloves (Same for his moustache, even Stalin had a larger 'Stache ).

The mask holes on the Dread Pirate Roberts look off. They are too big making his eyes look strange.

Fantastic! I love the variety and detail of the characters you've chosen!
