The McCain campaign released this ad today. Calling Washington "broken" the ad says "we're worse off than we were four years ago." It advertises McCain's history of taking on corporations and corruption and says he's "the original maverick."

I honestly laughed out loud at this because it's fucking begging for a counter ad that points out just how many times Grandpa Simpson sided with GWB to the detriment of the American people.

One counter-ad I could think of would be running a list of each time The Gimp has kissed the maladministration's ass or flipflopped over a still picture of a rusted-out '73 Ford Maverick on blocks (or in the middle of a clump of weeds somewhere) —ending with the caption "That's not the kind of maverick we can believe in".

Seriously, Obama should BLAST him on this one. Gloves off, to hell with that "Respect War Hero" shit. McCain doesn't show Obama any hint of respect, so why should Obama reciprocate?
