Yeah, well, I should mention that I had a bad experience with picture-sharing here. A guy at SD.net kept asking for my picture, saying that he thought I must look like this celebrity or that celebrity, and I said, "No, I don't look anything like a celebrity or model, and I don't want to send you my pic because you're going to be disappointed now, since that's what you expect." However, he said, "No, it'll be fine, send it to me please" ad nauseum, to the point where I finally said, "Ok, here goes" and sent it to him. And he hasn't spoken a word to me since. Not one fucking word. I'm not a troll or anything (Ando & Ewo can vouch for that), but I don't look like a supermodel either (and have never claimed that I do). However, assholes like that have made me a bit skittish about posting my picture here.

Anyway, the point of that long-winded story is to tell you that I appreciate your comment about my honesty, Joe. *kisses cheek* Thank you.

Which comment were you referring to?

I found them both to be rather insensitive, to varying degrees.

I apologized. I realized my insensitivity. I am aware I was a dick. That is an unnecessary threat.

Okay, as long as she's accepted the apology that's good enough for me. I consider her to be a friend and I don't like people insulting her or otherwise directing rude sentiments her way.

I don't know whether or not she accepted the apology. I am only pointing out that I accept the fact I was an ass and do not speak on her behalf.

One last turn on I forgot to menton
Eye, there's some one see when they look into the eyes of someone that has preked there intrest something that makes my cold heart I have no idea as to what it is but if it's there I'm turned on.

Personality: She has to know how to laugh at herself (absolutely paramount)
She has to be decently intelligent, I have to be able to learn from her
She has to like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, since in my generation, that's probably the only universal thing we all grew up with.
A good imagination is a plus because of my tendency to start talking about something totally off the wall
And she should like Star Wars and if she doesn't after being with me, it is over!

Physically: I have to be able to look at her and not hear the child in my head cowering in the corner
Decently long hair
I love pantyhose, especially tan colored
And I love feet in pantyhose
Yes I am a total fucking pervert

Turn Offs: Oprah syndrome. It's ok for a woman to be strong, but for her to be intimidating on purpose only enhances why no guy wants her
Slutty clothing
Enormous breasts. I don't exactly need that much, maybe a handful.
Girls who tell everything to their friends. I dated a girl once whose friends knew more about me sexually than I did and no, it wasn't from first hand experience.

And because I saw Splash when I was three years old, I love mermaids.
The gift of Superman is the same in his universe as ours. It's not about his powers, his costume, his persona, it's about the using the gifts he has to help people. We all have gifts too, maybe we can't leap tall buildings in a single bound, but maybe we're good with math, maybe we're charming. We can use our gifts -whatever they are- to help people. We just need to make that choice. And Superman shows us that it's possible.

D'oh! How could I forget eyes? I don't care about color, but there's a certain sparkle to particular people's eyes that I just love. I'd say only about 10% of people have it, but they seem so much nicer and friendlier due to that sparkle.

For me:

Slim and muscular, same height or somewhat taller than me. Good personality. Expressive eyes, intellegent.

I don't seem to pay much attention to eye or hair color, though I do tend to like blue or green eyes, but there's something about very expressive brown eyes...

On the whole I look at personality as much or more than I do at looks. And yes, that does go for both men and women, depending on my mood...

Joe, I guess I accept your apology. *shrug* It's whatever; the whole discussion is pretty much moot since you have no idea what I look like anyway. I could be drop-dead gorgeous and have an inferiority complex, or I could be butt-ugly and have a huge ego; my point is that it shouldn't matter either way. But this is America, so of course it matters.

Whatever. Apology accpeted.
