For fast food pizza, it's all about Round Table.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Shakey's? That's not perhaps a chain is it? We used to have a pizza place called Shakey's near where I live, that had (back then) video games and big room with a big screen where kids could watch cartoons (I remember watching Oliver North once on that screen once) and baloons with feet. Sound familiar? It burned down (or was tore down I can't remember) and they put up a pizzeria Uno in it's place.

You can't get really good pizza from a fast place, but a lot of it's decent... My vote is whoever's cheapest except for Domino's, 'cause they're evil and stuff.

Shakey's is a chain, AFAIK, though I don't know how extensive it is. There was one in the Los Angeles area when I lived there, as well as another in the Sacramento area (which I visited on the way to the airport once while living in northern California). I haven't seen one outside of California, though. Both of the ones I knew of had an arcade, and one had a movie room, so it seems to be a common enough design. Where was the one you knew?

In Australia, we only have Domino's and Pizza hut, but I love Dominoes, I order a cool custom pizza from them whenever I can.

From best to worst of the listed:
Pizza Hut
Papa John's
Domino's
Little Caesar's

Absolute Worst: Hungry Howie's. Gag.

Absolute Best: Broadway Pizza. Little hole-in-the-wall place near my house, makes the finest pizza I've had for a realistic price.

NY Upper Crust (Stromboli is better than the pizza IMO)
Pizza Dude (I shit you not)

but the best is good ol' Pizza Ranch, not many of those around. You have to look in the Southern Minnesota, Western Iowa, East NEbraska, Southeast South Dakota area.

Cinelli's is a delivery place that serves real Italian food and very fast, so I get off on a technicallity. :D

If I have to pick a fast food chain, it'd have to be Papa John's--their pizza is decent, they give lots of toppings, and they give you those deliciously sinful vats of butter to dip the crust in.

However, I hardly ever get pizza from a chain because my favourite kind of pizza is BBQ chicken and the chains don't have it. At least, not the ones near me.

We've got damn near every pizza chain within 2 miles of our house. I've tried 'em all except for Domino's.

1) Papa John's, the newest store in the area. Awful. Had their pizza once, and I couldn't even finish the pieces I had. My dad couldn't finish his, either. I'll never get pizza from there again.
2) Papa Murphey's. Oldest chain in the area. Alright. Crust tastes funky, but otherwise decent. I rarely get anything from there. Breadsticks kick ass, though.
3) Pizza Hut. Second newest store in the area. Blah. Nothing to write home about. Lame breadsticks.
4) Godfathers. Second-oldest chain in the area. The best. Sometimes the pizzas are merely blah, but they tend more towards 'Good' to 'Damn, this is good!'.
5) Little Ceasers. Oldest chain, but it's not there anymore. I remember it being pretty good, but I also remember so many bad ones that I stopped eating pizza for years. Their breadsticks were the best, though.

Local Chains:
6) Carl's Pizza. Pretty good. They can range from 'eh' to 'nice'. They inherited Little Ceaser's breadstick machine after they moved out, so the breadsticks are similar, and thus kick ass.
7) Pizza Time. Decent. Nice pizzas, but actually walking in the place makes you hesitate about eating there.

I remember there being a Shakeys near our old house, along with an Alfy's. I also remember them being damned good, but I haven't had 'em for 15 years.
