Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil,
but a foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow
was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now, the fool
seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Aku...

It'd be nice. You would think that the PC's would be most suited towards TFU, considering those are the things actually capable of having a dedicated physics calculations card.
Still, I'm not going to whine. My PC doesn't have the cajones to handle it at the resolution or detail that my 360 can, and I'm too cheap to upgrade my machine; even it would be as relatively simple as a new motherboard and processor, and a PSU.
To stay on topic: Yeah, still not going to whine about owning it for the 360, for the same reasons above. Maybe, someday, but for now, I'm content with ze xbox.
Besides, driving on the PC is a nightmare when you don't have an analogue game pad, and I'm too cheap to get an adapter for my controllers.

Drooling Iguana: No, John. You are the liberals.
Phantasee: So extortion is cooler and it promotes job creation!
Ford Prefect: Maybe there can be a twist ending where Vlad shows up for the one on one duel, only to discover that Sun Tzu ignored it and burnt all his crops.

Cool. I played it a bit on the 360, and it looks like a lot of fun.

Your Canadian not Australian, it should be less than 110$ for both unless your buying the ultra-special release versions.Enigma wrote:Can't forget. We expect year delays(Yah know, post game release drunken party days) not six months, six months is a pleasant surprise.Stark wrote:Oi you!
Anyway, did people seriously expect GTA4 to never come out on PC? PC-only gamers are still forced to wait six months.

I'm honestly surprised. My cousin works in the company that holds rockstar games and she told me that they are not making it for pc.
Also there have been two games, vice city stories and liberty city stories that have not been released on pc.

They have not made of of the "stories" games for the PC.ArmorPierce wrote:I'm honestly surprised. My cousin works in the company that holds rockstar games and she told me that they are not making it for pc

The "Stories" games were meant to be PSP exclusive and later ported to the PS2. I'm not surprised they never bothered making those for PC.
But all the past mainline GTA titles have all come out for PC. Are people really that stupid? *waits for Stark to come by and say "yes they are"*
Anyway this'll be neat, even though my current computer hasn't a prayer of playing it. MODS! Personally I'd love to make those spotlights on the police cars work. It's a minor thing I know, but I'd love to see it done (rotatable along the lines of the fire truck's water cannon too).
And I remember (I think it was Rogue 9) mentioning machinima with it on the PC? With the "expanded multiplayer" I'm thinking it's only a matter of time...especially since you can mod the thing on PC.
EDIT: Dumb me, didn't read the OP. Expanded multiplayer indeed.

I was thinking that both would cost $60 each then add in the 8%PST and the 5%GST.Mr Bean wrote:Your Canadian not Australian, it should be less than 110$ for both unless your buying the ultra-special release versions.Enigma wrote:Can't forget. It would bring it to about $136. Unless of course both games retail at $50 each then I'll save $23. Still pricey.

They sell Xbox and PS3 games for 60$, they still sell PC games for 50$, what with it being much cheaper to make discs, no lisences fees or nuffing, heck they get paid by Nvidia to put "way it's meant to be played" on the box.Enigma wrote:

I fucking knew it. I'm looking forward to screwing with the Euphoria engine.
Also, I really need to upgrade for this and Fallout 3 (I can run them, just... not well. 3ghz hyperthreaded CPU. It has served me well, but alas, it is now getting a bit long in the tooth. Graphically though, I'm a-ok. 8800 GT 512 FTW.)

Depends. I quite expect PC versions of Fallout 3 and GTAIV to go $60 once they go retail and stay that way for about a month or two before dropping.Mr Bean wrote:They sell Xbox and PS3 games for 60$, they still sell PC games for 50$, what with it being much cheaper to make discs, no lisences fees or nuffing, heck they get paid by Nvidia to put "way it's meant to be played" on the box.Enigma wrote:

Other equally big name games have come out for PC and they weren't $60. I picked up Oblivion on launch day for $40.
