If you don't mind, what island? Oki? Grab some Yaccasoba and stay away from the Habu saki.jegs2 wrote:On the tail-end of an Army exercise here in the Land of the Rising Sun. Thought I'd drop you all a line...
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

What bugs me is that not only are American models so shitty in manufacturing, we have to sell the good import kits for twice the retail price.
basically standard business policy...sell the shit stuff to those who need it and the good quality stuff to those who have enough currency to purchase a small island and such

Hey, it's not 'mangled English', it's 'katakana engureshi'!Exonerate wrote:Bring back one of their vending machines. There's nothing they don't sell in those things. Literally.
Hope you enjoy your stay. I hope you can manage to understand the mangled English which permeates from its populace...

Bah...we hit about -8 degrees C in Lakeland last weekend (including wind chill, was about -4 pure temperature). According to a friend who lives there, it snowed at Daytona. We on the Gulf Coast hit around 27F. No snow, of course. The Dark wrote:Bah...we hit about -8 degrees C in Lakeland last weekend (including wind chill, was about -4 pure temperature).
