That was pretty cool. I especially liked the AT-ATs at the beach. Plus, I liked how they had the ISD leak some type of fog stuff and the shuttle leave a smoke burst as it accelerated away.

The tracking was quite good in that film - there was only the one night shot of the Death Star over to the Shuttle that I thought was a little rough on the tracking/masking.

Pretty cool. The beach isn't NEARLY wide enough for those three AT-ATs IRL though :P
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Silly Treder it's obvious they are walking in the ocean too.
This is a good find, choppy, HS level CGI but good. I'd like to find a Professional somewhere with some stock footage of DC and see what a low level pass by a Star Destroy looks like(ALA-Independence Day)

Day 549 of the Occupation: Life in San Fran has gotten a lot easier since the rationing was lifted last week. Mo word yet on when the Imps will be bringing their own goods to the city, but judging by what I've seen of their military gear, they MUST be sufficently advanced to build the flying car. Fred is going to ask one fo the Imps just how much a flying car would set us back since we've only managed to scrape together a couple hundred credits and dollars aren't legal tender in space.

The construction project got shifted to a lower orbit-which was amazing to see, but boring to watch. Still, a good pair of binoculars let's you watch it change day by day, hour by hour. The astronomy club has telescopes set up on it 24/7, recording the construction. It will be an interesting time-lapse film when they are done I bet.

That was neat. Pretty good graphics too, all things considered. I suppose it's a little odd that the incomplete DS2 showed up for a "visit" (the other notes it as "Imperal Fleet Week" in San Fancisco) but otherwise great fun.

And it wasn't until I read some of the comments that I noticed the little police lights on the TIEs over that protest. That was pretty neat and a nice little touch (Imperial MPs making sure it doesn't get out of hand?). :D

I thought that was just bad graphics. Thanks for pointing it out.

Damnit, I was expecting that thing to fire! Would have made a good ending. But I suppose that would make people think "waaaait a minute, I'm not dead, this stuff must be fake".

No stormtroopers though? That's kinda odd.

Would have been harder to do--this is all just insertion of graphics into film of other stuff, like the protests obviously, and getting a bunch of stormtroopers together would be harder. Some of the stuff was pretty meh, like the shots of the transports landing and the lighting on the AT-ATs, but the Deathstar itself looked great.

I loved the little subtle bits in one scene that looked like a ship heading towards the deathstar instead of just a static image of it.

At least it wasn't an official, George Lucas-approved moneymaking thing this time.
