What the hell just happened? Was Eminem murdered or not?!
Ok, so the weirdest thing just happened to me. I was reading through OT and saw a thread named "Eminem Murdered," so I clicked on it (since I am a fan), saw that there was a link, went to it, it didn't work but it was for CNN.com so I started looking through their site, and then went to post something about the link and the thread had disappeared. I don't remember who originally created the thread, but Joe responded to it, saying that he figured Eminem was going to get shot sooner or later.
So, WTF happened to the thread? Am I nuts? Is it in another forum? Did someone delete it? What the hell happened?

Nope.
Not in the least bit suspicious that no news agency in the world has reported it (except MTV, boneheads)?

Right, right, I figured it wasn't actually true when I saw the @, but what the hell happened to the thread on it?! That's the part that weirded me the hell out. I figured someone would post, "Doh, that was fake, nevermind" and be done with it. Made me think I was looney....Admiral Valdemar wrote:Nope.

But WHAT HAPPENED TO THE THREAD ABOUT IT?!
That's the part that creeped me out the most. I mean, I think it would've sucked if he was dead, but WTF happened to the thread about it?
Creepy creepy creepy.

I didn't think that could happen if other people responded to it.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:It was deleted because it was a fake link, love.

You know, if you don't give a shit about what we're talking about, don't join the fucking conversation, ok? I was confused because one second I was responding to a thread, and the next minute it was gone. I wanted to find out what happened. The end.salm wrote:whocareswhocareswhocares...

Right, thanks for talking down to me like I'm a moron--the part of that I found confusing was that I didn't think threads could be deleted after people had responded to them. Obviously I was mistaken. Pardon if I appear to be an idiot, because I most certainly am not.salm wrote:the thread disappeared because it was deleted, obviously.

Alright, alright...no need to get worked up over it. I'm sure salm didn't mean it like that.Zaia wrote:Right, thanks for talking down to me like I'm a moron--the part of that I found confusing was that I didn't think threads could be deleted after people had responded to them. Damn it! I think that was the first time I've ever posted in a thread that was deleted, thus the first time one of my posts was deleted. Now, let's place bets on how long it's going to be before Eminem really does get shot!

Sorry, Salm, I shouldn't have jumped down your throat on that. Not that I should offer excuses for my behaviour, but I posted that right after I found out my friend Rob, a marine, is being sent over to Iraq. I've been a bit on edge since then. I apologize.Dalton wrote:Alright, alright...no need to get worked up over it.
