Hello all!

Post by Dooku's Disciple »

After much arm-twisting, gentle persuasion and even the odd threat, my good friend Mr Flibble has finally talked me into registering here. I hope the place is every bit as insane as he tells me it is :).

Just continue talking amongst yourselves and I'll pick up on any interesting conversations as I go along.

See y'all in the funny pages,

What's up, DD? I'm Zaia, nice to meet you. I don't do the poking thing, but welcome just the same. You're from Aus, eh? I spent a few months down there and absolutely LOVED it! I'm dying to get back, I miss it terribly!

Anyway, hope you enjoy your stay and enjoy our SD.net depravity. :D

I do so love a good show .

Thanks everybody, even for the pokes and kicks. Guess I can't hope to get through the gates without some sort of initiation ritual.

No I'm not in any of Mr Flibble's pics. He knows better than to wave a camera in my face and expect me to co-operate.

Zaia, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in the wretched Antipodes, but you wouldn't want to live here. No decent bands ever tour, and it takes forever for good movies (such as the one quoted in my sig) to get released on Region 4.

Larz, when it comes to being cynical, I've been there, done that, written the book and bought the T-shirt. I even taught Mr Flibble everything he knows about the subject. I'm so proud of the lad...

I'm actually having the reverse problem, because I want a copy of "Looking for Alibrandi" and don't have a region 0 DVD player...Oi.

And in terms of location, you don't even know the half of it, because I stayed in Tassie for 6 months (yes, go ahead--mock if you like) and I miss it SO GODDAMN MUCH!! Everyone on the mainland says that it's a hole, but it's the most gorgeous place in the world. Le sigh.

Anyway, didn't mean to digress. Hope you stick around!

After the extremely high amounts of poking, you will learn the joys of the finer things in life, such as pornography, anal sex, splooge ballistics, and discussions of lesbian sex between two fictional characters.

AND the First Law strikes again...well, this one lasted what, all of 11 posts before actually bringing up less-than-polite parts of sex (not counting Larz's post, he just mentioned it in passing). That may actually be a new record...

Exactly...most posts without mention of actual sexual activities. The famous Mary/Trinity thread only took half a dozen.

SUPER ATOMIC POKE OF DOOOOOOMMM!!

Justice League- Molly Hayes: Respect Hats or Freakin' Else!

Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."

Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.
