Honestly, given what happened in that Ozma episode I wouldn't be surprised if the final pairing is Ranka and Sheryl, with Alto saying "You're both goddamn crazy! Leave me alone with my plane, dammit!"

Well, alright, I would be surprised. But only a bit.

I don't think so, not really. She took Ranka's side in an argument about teasing Alto or something, then blushed when Sheryl asked if she likes Alto too. I think that was more a case of normal high-school type teasing than anything substantial.

Besides, if you ask me(and you haven't), Nanase is going to die in the next episode, or the one after at best.

Just caught the episode. I wish I knew what the hell they were saying, but some of it was pretty easy to guess.

At the end of the preview for the next episode, Klan looks mad.

Is anyone else hoping that the guys running the show are going to pull another fast one like in "goodbye sister" and have mikhail show up later on?

That would be pretty awsome to see. Picture this, SMS is fighting the Vajira, and loosing badly, alto's about to get whacked, and a sniper bolt comes flying in out of nowhere, cue Mikhail flying in with cyber-upgrades and a VF-27 and kicking ass.

I like how they didn't have the old combustion planes do anything too outlandish. Relative to the modern fighters, that is.

I really want to see someone edit the All that VF videos together with the Top Gun theme music.

And the way the episode ended rally reminded me of the Lockon-fakeout a few episodes before he really died, but the teaser for the next episode seems to preclude something like that. Oh well
