I had BF2 and the expansions, but my discs were a bit worn so I bought the complete collection.
I installed the game as instructed, patched it and loaded it up. Everything ran fine. The next time I booted up my computer and loaded it up, the BF2 splash screen comes up, then drops to desktop.
EA's so called tech support is as useful as a condom in a convent, as I told them immediately that I had as an alternative run it in xp compatibility mode both with and without administrator rights. I tried setting up an alternate account but EA go through their script as per usual.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so what did they do?
