On the front page.
The Malevolence gets some nice screen time in this trailer. There's also several new planets seen, including Rodia, I think. And it's pretty long for a trailer.

Some kind of modified ion cannon. Since it spreads out like that but is still able to beat down Venator shields we are gonna need to reevaluate either how powerful it is or how ion cannons work against shields.

At risk of sounding too hopeful, that looks rather good. If nothing else, the action sequences should be entertaining, and the tiny bit of story and character interaction shown weren't half bad. I'm particularly intrigued by the apparent role of lesser Jedi in the cartoon; shifting the focus off of Anakin and company, even slightly, would be a nice change of pace.

There were a couple of cringe-worthy lines, but Grevious back-handing a battle droid for making one compensated adequetely. :)

"That was impressive."

See, no. No more please. No more Battle Droids talking like that. Argh!

I just...

Oh well, I think we are going to see a lot more of that.

However, I did chuckle at the "Roger Roger" looping at the end.

Anyway, (at least one) Y-wings with manned rear gunners perched in a bubble slightly raised above the roof line of the cockpit. Interesting.

Another of the countless Mcquarrie/Johnston references the animators have been using. 8)

According to the scans Ender put up of the Visual Guide, battle droids sometimes malfunction and start carrying around "personal items" like another battle droid's head, or endlessly repeating "Roger, roger....", so get ready for more battle droid hijinks. Which I'm cool with, since they also know how to fight when the script calls for it.
