i dont believe that there´s a god, but there´s still hope that there is one. not a christian type god, but a cool god who gives us a cool afterlife in some place with lots of fun, permanent sex and loads of techinical gadgets like jetpacks.
Science!!

No, serriously, who else is going to give you 'permanent' sex and jet packs? Don't know how the hell sex is supposed to be 'permanent', but I guess it can be invented.

Funny, that's kinda like how I used to picture heaven at about age 7. I think it's one reason kids get so enamoured by and drawn into Christianity at an early age, besides being simply taight it from birth, of course. Then I realized I didn't need some Candy Land at the end of the tunnel and some robed father figure to make me happy with my life.

As things currently stand, I'm hovering between deist and agnostic

My signature should make my answer to the question of my faith self-evident, and if it does not suffice, then my website leaves little room for doubt.

I think the option "Diest" should be added.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

Christian; nominally a Baptist, though that's mostly because there's a Baptist church less than a block from my dorm, and convenience wins. Theologically, I actually don't fit in to any particular denomination.

Many things, most of my spirituality is original.

Quite alot of Paganism in there though, so I clicked Wiccan as it's a *snarls* offshoot of Pagan.

Heh. I used to flippantly say that I was an apatheist: The question is no longer interesting, and the answer no longer matters.

A guy I knew online once posted something like: "As a member of the First International Church of the Fucking Christ, I believe it is blasphemous to mention His holy name without including His holy gerund. And, moreover, it is a mortal sin to remove His holy name, gerund and all, from any text in which it appears."

And Peter da Silva once wrote: When people ask me what my religion is, I say either "Frisbeetarianism" which satisfies them if they're not listening closely, or "I'm trying to make up my mind between the Greek and Babylonian chaos goddesses, do you think Eris or Mummu has dishier priestesses?"
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.
