I've said it before, but there's no harm in saying it again: Congratulations! Looks like you guys had an absolutely wonderful wedding.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

Then why bother having the wedding in the first place?
Of course! I completely forgot that eating cake is the main purpose of having a wedding! You can have one without it, you fucking turd.
actually, having a cake is part of the traditional aspect of the wedding. I wasn't going to have a cake in the first place, but my father wanted to see us cut one because it's supposed to be symbolic of the first task a husband and wife perform together. it actually hasn't anything to do with eating the thing. For some, the cake is as important as the dress.
JLTucker wrote:I congratulated them and I really mean it. I just made an observation that they don't really need the cake.
which i get may have been completely innocent, but we're both overweight and we're aware of that. so when you say something like that, it's easy to assume you mean we shouldn't be eating cake. but we did. cause we're fat. and we don't care on our wedding day...well, I don't care on my wedding day. Hav doesn't care every day of the year.

Congratulations, guys! Welcome to the club (it seems to be growing a bit faster than the AYVB, amusingly...)

I have just one comment on the bride's cake... Make sure, make very sure, that it is both damned airtight wrapped, and if not, has a little pouch of baking soda underneath to absorb odors. When my wife and I finally took ours out of the freezer, it smelled so strongly of freezer that we couldn't bring ourselves to eat it. We were mostly glad to get the space back ;)

Havokeff you sexy madman you! Congratulations on this awesome looking wedding. You look hell dapper in a suit, by the way (wear one more often). Jenn, you look beautiful as well, though you're no patch on Hav.

Supes, did you really need a cake as tall as your wife? It's so huge you didn't even need to put it on a table.

Thanks to everyone! Jenn got married too, so don't forget to congratulate her as well.

JL, I understand the thoughts and I even said the same thing, but sometimes you just keep shit to yourself.

Supes, that is one bad ass cake. :D

Sadly, no bikers were present besides myself. Might not have gotten along to well with our families. It certainly would have been more interesting.

Jenn speaks French Zablorg... you jack ass.

Congratulations Jenn & Hav :D
So I stare wistfully at the Lightning for a couple of minutes. Two missiles, sharply raked razor-thin wings, a huge, pregnant belly full of fuel, and the two screamingly powerful engines that once rammed it from a cold start to a thousand miles per hour in under a minute. Life would be so much easier if our adverseries could be dealt with by supersonic death on wings - but alas, Human resources aren't so easily defeated.
