I just visited this site and must really wonder... MayCain shows off his ass-conservative tits-on-legs, and at once his polls shoot up by 14%, which Republitards now want to hold for two months.

USA today does seem to be a bit of an outlier, but the various weekend polls all have him even with Obama or at a small lead.

Polls are fickle things. Personally I'm hoping Palin makes more gaffes like this one. Then we can expect to see those ratings drop to more manageable levels.

It's a Convention bump. A week ago Obama was 10 points ahead of McCain. It happens every election season. I mean, each convention is a full week of propaganda that gets broadcast 24/7 on all major networks. Shouldn't it show in the polls for a while? Anyway, in a week or two things will be back to normal. Besides, Obama's still leading in several key swing states.
Indeed, now they have two months to mouth off and make fuck ups for people to change their minds, instead of carefully constructed propaganda from the conventions.
