In a crossover, the Force would presumably exist in the Star Trek galaxy (there's no evidence that the Force is a phenomonon localized to the SW galaxy). But there's not a shred, not a whiff of evidence the Q are manifestations of the Force.
Any city gets what it admires, will pay for, and, ultimately, deserves…We want and deserve tin-can architecture in a tinhorn culture. And we will probably be judged not by the monuments we build but by those we have destroyed.--Ada Louise Huxtable, "Farewell to Penn Station", New York Times editorial, 30 October 1963

Gee, Stravo, that wouldnt be a hint of things to come in a certain story, would it?Stravo wrote:UNLESS Q is a physical manifestation of the force in the ST universe as SOME fanfic writers may be hinting at in their stories *cough cough* Then Q is an agent of the force and thus cannot be influenced by force users.

I have to wonder what Q is doing in a ST-SW vs Debate. I mean, get real, people. I know the pro-Trek groups like having him in their pocket as a club, I think its one that can be safely ignored. Q is outside the realm of any 'normal' crossover debate, and if you want to find a good debate with him, do Q vs Cthulu, Tzeentch, or Ptah. Something like that.

Could StarFleet engineers be the ST version of Jedi, using technobabble to kill stuff rather than choking?
