I'm mainly waiting to see if anyone came with Lazarus to check the spaceport. I know several people wanted to do that. If I go around doing stuff I'd basically be making decisions for anyone who wanted to go to the spaceport. Do you think I should post again or just wait and see?

Wait and see, for the moment. Like I said, this is bound to be a slow couple weeks as people go back to school.

Okay, just to double check, who is on what team? I figure I'm on the space port team, but I'm not sure who else is there.

Saved from the second page, but just barely.

Was it in time, or too late? It's been a while, and most people should have settled in and gotten things sorted by now. Do we still have enough interest, or should I end things here?

Looks like we need to have a roll call and a declaration of continued interest. I for one want to keep playing, even if it seems a bit slow right now.

I don't suppose you put any points into Jedi Mind Trick, did you, CynCat?

I'm still in, I had school starting and all that, but I'm kind of lost as to who is where at the moment.

Hey Hotfoot, I seem to have misplaced my character sheet. Could you email your copy of it to me please?

Unless we get caught in a checkpint, I suppose we end up at the spaceport? (Unless we ended up taking a gypsy cab or something.)

Assuming Mr. GM doesn't have any issues with us finding this transportation, I'd say we should get there without complications unless some are introduced.

Incidentally, how much are these tickets going to cost? Would it be poor to standard level ground transport, as in the rulebook?

If it takes more money than I have, I'll sell some bullets if it becomes neccesary. I think I have 3 thrones left.

Sorry, tonight was open house, didn't get off work until just now.

Transit is one throne per person, or you can walk.

I'll hunt up your character sheet when I can walk myself.

Alright, I have enough to pay for myself, as I have exactly 2 thrones left. Sure beats walking and being visible.

Seeing as how we can get there, how do we want to go about investigating the starport? Supposedly Grim's shipment comes in "tomorrow" in game, so perhaps we should get a list of who's shipping crap in tomorrow and see what security is like?

Assuming no trouble on the way, we should look around at the cargo offloading area, perhaps where they transfer it to ground transport. That would be the logical place to make an ambush, if any were to occur.

Good idea. I was thinking of starting out by making a an inquiry check or two up at the freight office. Lazarus really sucks at that however......

Hotfoot, I guess Lazarus is making an Inquiry check at the freight office to try and figure out where Grim's cargo might be coming in at so we can do a recce of the site.

What a waste of a 12.

Considering how much Lazarus sucks at such tasks, A 12 was pretty much needed.

edit: well if I get a list, I'm figure through a process of elimination we might be able to figure out which transport the shipment is in. For instance, I doubt Grim would be shipping guns in via some noble's private landing pad. If he had those kinds of connections, he wouldn't be hanging around in the underhive.

That’s what the inquiry check would be more about; paring down the list into something more useful.

edit mk2: There is also the ope that if I mess up the inquiry bad enough some folks might come around to find out who's asking questions.......

Literacy and Logic would be the most applicable skills here.

This would be the part where I ask Hotfoot again to please send your copy of my character sheet to me. I do know Camillia has literacy trained though, and I believe that's an INT skill check, and she has a 31 INT.

As for outside of rolling logic, Grim did say that it was a shipment of weapons and armor, but wouldn't be on the standard manifests. We really came into this situation unprepared though. I figured we would be checking out the offloading areas and whatnot, not looking for the specific shipment.

However, we probably can still vox someone at the base and have them ask Grim for more details regarding the shipment, like which freighter it's coming on. On that note, who's marginally active and still at the base? Or can we vox Grim directly?

edit: if Nixios is available, either as a person playing him or an NPC, we could send a copy of the list to him and let him sort through it. I assume the list we have is electronic, and not paper? Do either of us have a dataslate?

edit2: can our vox-beads actually reach any other team members from the spaceport? Because Cyrine and Varnius have that nice juicy room of vox equipment to use...
