I doubt we need superfighters in this game, though. Phongn said it best, we don't need super-duper weapons systems to counter Shep and Skim's hordes of bombers. We have to be pragmatic and invest in a more equally distributed defense system, with lotsa radars and other stuff.

How can five fighters stop five hundred bombers, even if the fighters have insane variable geometry swing-forwards-backwards-swept wings, thrust-vectoring, and canards and shit?

X-02s are 4.75-gen planes at best. as awesome as they are, they still aren't 5th-gen stealth beasts.

And I plan to have some this game.

I do that. Various units in the TJAF have custom paint schemes. One of my naval armed-recon units, VFAR-10, has the Razgriz paint scheme.

Not really. It's just a hypothetical situation I made up just to show off that pic of the two F-16s with Idolmaster characters painted on them. There's also a picture of two Sukhois decked out in similar paint jobs.

I'll definitely make sure of that. I might ask if he can upgrade my C/D Block 52+ craft to E/F Block 60 standard as well.

If you order a SHITLOAD of them, you could get 'em for like 75-80 mil a piece. The F-16XL without conformal fuel tanks already has WAY HUEGER range than a normal F-16. WITH conformal fuel tanks... damn, they'll have pretty awesome range!

Here's my proposal, then: 128 F-16XLs, 64 single-seaters and 64 double-seaters all equipped with Block 60 avionics and conformal tanks, for the flat fee of just $10 billion. There's some extra money in there to upgrade my existing C/D Block 52+'s to E/F Block 60 standard as well.

Yes, I may be running into a bit of a debt this fiscal year. I'll just cut back on military spending next year to make up for it.

Considering the Mig-31 is a Mig-25 knockoff.... Well, maybe with some effort you could make them, but not yet. You can definitely manufacture Mig-23s, however. I gave you a much larger military than a typical principality but imposed huge limitations on it to compensate, so, no present Mig-31 production, sorry.

Hey Stas, is the Kherson class basically a Kiev with a different aft section with just two screws to fit in a well-dock and speed about 26kts because of it, at about the same size and capacity as a Wasp? I ask because I happened to design a very similar vessel (with aviation cruiser and LHD variants with modular stern sections different for each one, otherwise a common hull) for Kaetjhasti in that project, and I'd find it awesome if the USSR had actually considered such a ship.

How about the Osorio to be precise the EE-T2? It seems to suit my needs more so than most other tanks. Especially if I can give it a 125mm gun instead of the 120mm.

And I understand the limitations, an autarky has to make some hard choices along the way.

Heh.. I can offer Tu-160BM with state of the art avionics, jamming equipment. Sure the bomb load is less, but you get more speed and more range.
