I found it...on page FUCKING nine.

Goddamn it.

Link to page if anybody wants it.

EDIT:

And...it is useless to me, because the only ship I have that's on it is the Slava Class Cruiser.

Am I using it wrong? :?

Good idea
I'll have to pass: the navy is eating enough of my cash right now and for a nation my size I'm running an absurdly ambitious rocketry program. No more money for bombers beyond my own F-111XL. Of course, we'll be more than happy to loan you the money, against an agreeable interest rate

I think so, yes. It fits with the overall art-deco theme of San Dorado's buildings, and La Palma is supposed to have an LA/Singaporean climate, so it fits :).

I'm spending small change, too. I could go with 130 billion if I really wanted to...

FTO guys: You really think a couple dozen B-1Bs are gonna work as a deterrent force? :D

They'd have to get through hundreds of fighters and ungodly amounts of SAMs if you want to deter anybody you would actually want to.

Japanistan: You guys are overreacting. For Skimmer to invade, he'd have to get through:

- The Suez Canal (mines mines mines!)
- A huge fucking desert
- Byzantium (bosphorus straits, anybody?)

The logistics would be mind-bogglingy huge and complicated and open to attack. Skim's airforce is large, but the OC actually outdoes it numerically, and with more advanced aircraft to boot. The mediterrenean is small enough to be defended with coastal ASM batteries. Our main problem is air defence, and frankly: we don't need many S-400 missiles for that. We need to spam something cheaper, which can intercept Skimmer's aircraft, and most importantly, we need good C4I systems in place (costly!).

Really, if we're expecting to fight a defensive war, skimmer will have to go through byzantium or do a horribly bloody forced landing. And we can defend Byzantium's chokepoints with a lot of infantry backed up by masses of cheap artillery, moved by trucks and equipped with advanced ATGMs, radios, etc.

EDIT: And Shady, I know you're going to coup Sjenska :P

Fingolfin, how about 2 billion of whatever currency we're using for the carrier?

Aw :-(

EDIT: Right now, 315 AS-3s are en route towards various targets in the Fucklands, the B-56Gs carrying them having launched at 300 nm.

Unfortunately, the AS-6s the PB-56s are carrying only have a range of 130 nm; meaning they have to close much closer to the fucklands and the OD CVBG....

Fortunately, since none of those missiles carry nukes, the CSGs can actually group togather much closer and put up a wall of lead like no other. :)

I wouldn't be so sanguine. I've wargamed this out multiple times in harpoon and well.....

Well if we ever get strategic weapons, we need some way to deliver them. Right now ballistic missiles aren't really there yet and the nuclear weapons put on a missile would have to be more complicated than if I just build gravity bombs. I'd rather have a few dozen strategic bombers which can delivery the types of nuclear devices I'd have the most of (Indhopal neither confirms nor denies having a nuclear program.) as well as do something useful like spam out missiles at a fleet coming in at Frequesue. Ballistic missiles just sit around being expensive.

I thought that we agreed that the secret stuff would be announced in the OOC thread at least, to stop the "OMG I has nukes from Q and will blast you now" type of situations.

I've had posts saying I've been working on a nuclear program since nearly the bigginning of the game. I've also stockpiled some chemical and biological agents as it is believed that plenty of others are as ell, so I can't be left behind.

I put in the neither confirm nor deny part because Indhopal's government will neither confirm nor deny the existance of the nuclear program in game. It's a totally secret program.

Edit: Nuclear program first announced on page #13 of the story thread. It certainly felt like the game had just started at the time :P . I think I've only ever made one other post on the program.

Just remember that if you ever want those nukes in game you're going to have to PM me with the details of the programme and then let me decide when you actually succeed in a test-shot.

Actually, I have mentioned that Canissian Generals are willing to use chemical and biological warfare, but are averse to nukes. However, I have not posted any stockpiles. Since I have not done that, I'll just say that I have, like, the base agents and reactants/ingredients available, but have not actually started to build or mix anything into usable munitions.

I'd be a hell of a lot more scared of germs than nukes. With the present setup the only way that civilization on Nova Terra can end is through the use of biological weapons.
