I mean like All air, all tank, all sea or something

You don't have to fear those subs if you have no ships, not those sams without air, not the tanks if you have no vehicles, not the flame throwers if you have no infantry......

The best combo I can see now is air, with X-35 + B-2 + SH60 or vehicle, Heavy Tank + SAM + Humvee. Build defense structures to protect against unit types you can't attack.

Have people in the clan each take one set of units and a specialized army like this would own a general purpose one, and avoid attacking people specializing against you, and let your clanmates do the job.

Sorry, but I can't aid people bigger than me.

A solution would be to go the stealth and leap. Basically make you networth so low that the major threats can't attack you but still protected against minor threats. Than do the "leap" trick by building up money production tech and saving tons of money with alots of thieves. (money does not count for NW in the game) When you have enough money, spend a day or two mass building up to his level and do what you wish.

The key to victory is not killing the other guy's units, but making sure your units build faster than your opponent can kill them.

Well if I wasn't getting the full brunt of the attacks before, I am going to get it now as dragonflight has left the clan. I might have to leave temporarily too.

I'm going to leave the clan for a couple days to rebuild as I have lost hundreds of troops and it'll just get worse tomorrow. I'll make one last attack then I'll be gone till Friday. In the mean while, you people keep your networths close to each others so that you can protect each other.

Gah...damn it all, people. We need to stick together here. If we all start leaving, we'll ALL die, it's just that simple. Once you're out of the clan, you're a ripe target, anyone who can hit your net worth can come after you. In a clan, you've got strength in numbers. I know that we can beat these guys at their own game, but we need to stick together. If we can outnumber them at our net worth, we can win. Otherwise, they win, or it's a stalemate.

Guys, come on back. We can kick their asses. It might not be pretty, and we'll certainly take some losses, but it can be done. This is war.

If I'm going to stay in the clan I'm going to have to lay low for a few days and not increase my networth, just restock on my money and turns and stay just out of reach of two of the guys that raped me. Actually, I'm going to have to drop by a few thousand if I want to remain safe. Also, get off Talimini clan, we have more pressing issues at the moment.

Look, troops die easy, okay? If you don't want them to die in attacks as easily, you've got to make sure you've got enough APCs to hold them (each APC holds 25 guys).

But troops are easy to rebuild, too. As it is, you've still got a damn killer armored force, which far surpasses my own. Only thing I'd suggest is that you get rid of the hovertanks. They're not worth the money. Sell them on the market, along with your rifle infantry. Never build either again if you can help it.

Other than that, read this guide to determine how net worth is calculated, and if need be, demolish some buildings to reduce your networth (if you've lost a lot of infantry, get rid of a lot of your barracks, for example). I've found that how much land you've got is a huge factor in what your net worth is. I just spent 5 turns exploring and finally broke the 90k net worth barrier. Selling any excess lands should help immesurably.

What we need to do is try and concentrate on getting everyone's net worth to the same level, then coordinating attacks accordingly.

I lost about 120 heavy tanks, about 400 infantries, and for the rest of vehicles not including heavy tanks like 75 then some air units and sea units. Not to mention a shit load of buildings and land.

Ok, here is what you do.

Forget infantry, STOP BUILDING THEM.

I'd suggest you go pure tanks, then much of the enemy attacks would be ineffective as they don't have a target. Heavy Tank + SAM + Humvee is extreamly cost effective in stopping most attacks, and keep Torpedo Turrets around just in case.

But you can go pure air or sea if you need to....

I've eliminated most of my infantry. Got lots of subs, SAMs, B2s, Heavy Tanks and Artillery.

I plan on changing my force into an air and sea one... When I get the money.

My Army (and yes, I realize it's about the 2nd or 3rd smallest we have, but I'm building):

50 X-35 JSF
19 B-2 Stealth
15 SH-60 Sea Hawk

80 Humvee
30 Heavy Artillery
25 SAM Tanks
65 Heavy Tanks

and 5 Missile Turrets, 8 SAM sites, and 6 torpedo launchers for defense. Hopefully, that'll screw over most armies that can attack me.

Scratch that, EVERYONE get ThaKillah.

Everyone who can, that is. I need to recover turns and morale at the moment, but first thing in the morning, I'm opening up ten kinds of whoopass on him.

Edit: Alexander13 is now dead, as is Bergen, their Clan Leader. We should have them shitting their pants right about now. Our lower networth players should be able to catch up with the higher networth players by killing derwil and freakstyler, while using thieves to fund their military buildup. Everyone else should focus on ThaKillah until he's paste, then move on to the next highest in the totem pole.

Once we're done with ThaKillah and the other two smaller shmucks, we'll have killed off 1/3 of their clan, giving us a nice, roughly 2:1 advantage (I have a friend who I've invited to the game for a turn bonus...since we've lost two members permenantly, think we could add him to the clan once he signs up?). With that sort of advantage, without an open state of war, we should mop up on those sorry SOBs.
