It's invisible We must all be either too stupid or too jealous to see it!!

Yup, you got it.
And yes, this was my first avatar, the one Iggy picked out for me. I wonder why y'all like her so much; she's sweet but a little too sweet, methinks. At least, too sweet to belong to the likes of me...

Sorry, that was out of line. I had some good avatars that the site would not accept now matter how much I shrunk them. I wanted them to be recognizable, but some of them were at 50 by 50 pixels(the smallest I prefer) and still more than 6 KB.
I had a feeling the system would accept an offensive avatar of OK size. IT proved Murphy's Law.
Ehh, I have the Punisher now. Not my first choice.

People will naturally think that their own avatar is the best, because selecting an avatar is a personal decision into which people pour effort and try to conform to their own tastes and preferences.
That being said, some of the members with really good avatars are:
Darth Wong
Alyeska
Nitram
Lusankya (before she left)
Zaia's Nicole Kidman pic
His Divine Shadow
Howedar
Dalton
and last but not least:
DasBastard (before he left)

Possibly useless info but I want to get this out:
That avatar, Zaia, is, I believe, one of the earlier "models" of the character known as Laika (*points at avatar*). She is 20 years old, a college student at Carnegie-Mellon (I think), a computer programmer currently working on some secret project, a kendo master (Among her abilities include rudimentary ki blasts, ki-charged sword strikes, and the ability to cut someone's limb off and reattach it without any harm), and posseses the most powerful demon in the world---hence the golden bracelet on her arm which is a talisman of some kind to help her keep the demon in.
Yes, she is dangerous and womanly. looks can be deceptive
[/end Shinova's FYI of the day]
EDIT: Zaia has just changed her avatar, so there goes this post

Ooooh, demonic, eh? I knew her name but not much else. The site where I found this pic had your avatar there too, with the name "Laika" too, which had me a bit confused. Somehow I don't think they're the same.Shinova wrote:Possibly useless info but I want to get this out:

No, no, no, just trying another one on for size. I'll put Laika back for a bit, since she's so popular around here.EDIT: Zaia has just changed her avatar, so there goes this post

I honestly do not mean to put you down or anything, but the truth must go out:Zaia wrote: Ooooh, demonic, eh? I knew her name but not much else. The site where I found this pic had your avatar there too, with the name "Laika" too, which had me a bit confused. Somehow I don't think they're the same.
The blue-green haired Laika and the red-haired Laika are the same. It's just that Akira Hasegawa (the creator of that webcomic), while in the beginning stages of making his characters, experimented with the red-haired Laika, then decided blue-green looks better.
The blue-green haired Laika is, thus, more "canon"
.......................
But who cares about canonicity! It's all a bunch of self-inflated crap and we have the right to choose and accept whatever fits with us the best, right!?
*The debaters of this board go demon-eyed and their hair lights in flames. An aura of dark anger surrounds them as they advance upon Shinova*
Um...canon....
