Space Wolf 13th company

Post by dragon »

In the 6th space wolf novel Ragnar runs into the lost company, and when he mentions this to the wolf leader afterwards he is under the impression that this was expected. Is there any reason why the leader was not suprised that Ragnar encountered them? Also do this lost company show up anywhere else?

Also this company has been fighting for 10,000 years in the warp imagine how much they could teach the imperium should they return.

The 13th Company were lost until Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade hit Cadia, where they quite suddenly reappeared. Thanks to some psykic divination, the SWs had some warning about their comming back. Codex: Eye of Terror was their official transition from in-universe legend to protagonist, IIRC.

As for the 13th Co themselves, their runepriests have some serious mojo, moreso than a normal librarian. It's what you'd expect from surviving eleven millennia in the Eye. They're also going to avoid the rest of the IoM like the fucking plague, because they are absolutely lousy with Wulfen mutants, whom they use as shock troops. Also, they very conspicuously use scavenged traitor armor and weapons to replace lost gear.
Many thanks! These darned computers always screw me up. I calculated my first death-toll using a hand-cranked adding machine (we actually calculated the average mortality in each city block individually). Ah, those were the days.

Hum the 13th Crusade was in 999M41 I think, what time frame did Ragnar encounter them? Logan Grimnar beacme Great Wolf in 659M41 and he was still great wolf when Ragnar encountered them. But some timelines I've seen Sven Ironhand left being a Great Wolf in 815M41 (where's does that come from?).

Also is Ragnar still alive in the current time frame?
